Fantastic place, very traditional German food, great quality, very friendly and good value. We go every year (as it not very local) if only there was one more local!!

Great concept, well executed! My husband and I took my in-laws for the evening. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food, and the beer on offer and loved the whole ambience of the place. The staff were attentive and friendly and we felt we could have stayed there all night.

Service was excellent, food was absolutely delicious and they have an excellent selection of Bavarian beverages! I’d toure after a lot of sausage, various meats, potato and sweet sauerkraut, you’re in for a treat !

Food and service were good, but unfortunately some customers were too rowdy and spoilt the entertainment for the other guests. We feel that the management could have controlled this better.

Good food; good beer; good company (but that’s not the restaurant’s doing). If you enjoy German food, what’s not to like? We squeezed 11 round a table and were just about comfortable - but, again, that’s a problem of our making. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely food and perfect service as usual. Only lost a star as I had to pay this time. Love this place, it's great for a quiet or noisy night

Great atmosphere, food and importantly beer! A great night out. Only deducted a point, as they have optimistically few WC facilities for a place selling steins!

Steins is good German fare. The portions are great and the service is good. If you like a boisterous place, this is it. Some of the food was a tad salty but otherwise great:

Lovely filling food. The apple fritters for dessert are delicious. The seats are hard wooden benches which are not very comfortable. Otherwise a great atmosphere.

Great food and really really reasonably priced! I like the little tables they have and there’s plenty of space around you. Sausage platter for two was amazing and great service too!

Thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Staff polite, helpful and welcoming. Great choice of beers and our food order was delicious and arrived quickly. Not surprised the restaurant was busy. We have been to Steins on several occasions and will definitely be back again.

A pleasant meal, in a friendly atmosphere. Service was good, boardering on over-attentive, but it was overall an enjoyable experience. Would happily return with friends, or as a family

Best German I've had in London. The view over the Thames helps too! Proper pretzels, snitches and worst. Beer is great and proper Bavarian too.

Great fun and lively atmosphere. Food good, we had the 2 sharing platters between the 4 of us. One made up of mixed wursts with mash potatoe, the other, pickles and cheeses. Service excellent.

I never leave disappointed. Great place with decent portions of tasty food. There are always people there which is a good sign for sure! Summer time even better.

Food was well below par and looking decisively unhealthy. We ordered a platter of sausages that come with heavily processed and mechanically retrieved luncheon meat and a platter of cured meats (just think of all those E additives). On a positive note beer is good, location nice, atmosphere and service pleasant.

I’ve been to the restaurant quite a few times now and although the service can get a bit slow when the place is really busy the food is amazing so definitely worth a little wait. Lovely beer too.

Nice place to get some tasty German treats including Spezi and Apfelscholrle on the Kingston riverside. Kartofelsalat was excellent too. Would like to come back for some schnitzel.

Really good food especially the potato salad! Went with our daughter and she loved the chicken with the sauté potatoes and bacon. Shame about the booking request not reaching the restaurant ! And luckily they could still fit us in!

First time for German cuisine - sausage, mash and beer, what could go wrong. Great venue right on the river, just the right amount of staff attention and excellent service. Will definitely be going again.

The Food was not worth the price at all. I get big and better sausages from Lidl Just a waste of my money. I mean, I still don't know how the charge me so much for what I ordered.
