for a monday night, it was an off the chance visit and i’ve never tasted steak like it

We had an overall nice visit to STK, the staff were lovely and attentive. However, between 4 of us there was 2 rump steaks (both medium rare) one was lovely and the other was completely full of fat. We advised staff and they are lovely asked if we wanted a new one cooked etc which was turned down and just requested it was removed from the bill. The staff was happy to do this for us and was very apologetic and kept offering to rectify the situation. It was appreciated how it was handled but I think with the reputation STK has this shouldn’t have really happened to begin with as I imagine the chef noticed this before even cooking the steak. However I enjoyed my visit I just don’t think i would refund

Nice service but was expecting food to be better. Calamari was poor. Not keen on the steak sauce.

Lovely opulent restaurant with high prices to match. Went in for the happy 3 hours when the cocktail prices were all £9 each. After happy hour ends it’s back to £16. Staff all helpful and friendly. The sirloin steak was delicious.
