The service at this place is great and the food is epic. It is not a cheap night out though. I realise the seats we had were in keeping with Japanese culture but I'm afraid I found them rather uncomfortable and struggled with an aching back.

The Chicken Katsu don (which comes in a big bowl) was amazing. It was my husband’s first taste of Japanese food. He wasn’t disappointed! We loved the unusual seating style & we had a friendly waiter.

We were late and they kept the table for us! Very polite and attentive staff. Nice ambience and authentic Japanese food by Japanese chefs. Food tastes good but pricier than what l expected.

Good atmosphere, not too noisy, pricing is fairly reasonable comparing to Japanese restaurants in more central London. Waitresses are attentive, probably too much attentive to try to get plates where there are still some food, otherwise my impression was very good, choices of food are plenty, we didn't have too many items, but they were all nicely done. Thanks to Japanese chef. As they also offer bento/take away (lunch&dinner), usually open Mon to Sun, so I would visit again. Thanks for very nice meal!

My go to Sushi place in London. The decor has probably never changed for years, but it’s cosy, authentic and the prawn tempura and sashimi is to die for. Very friendly and attentive staff. Try it, what’s not to like.

Maybe the best Japanese food I’ve eaten in London. Such a cute little venue with projections of Japanese films, documentaries and anime on the wall. Such a lovely atmosphere and great food. One of my all time favourite restaurants!!
