First time visiting Sweet1Ne. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food did not take too long to come out which was a blessing as we were hungry. Food costly but delicious. Would go back.

Our experience was amazing. Came out with my sisters and they were all blown away with the quality of food and the amazing staff. We were waited upon by David among others and they were brilliant. They don’t just listen but also act. Good location and very tidy too. Will visit again and highly recommended

We had a lovely time and our double birthday was made special with cheers and music. Our starters and desserts were fab. Great lunchtime vibes. Disappointed the lobster tail was very small, the giant prawns were very overcooked and stuck to the shell. Our waitress and other staff were very attentive. I will definitely go back for lunch. Service - Overall, the staff were friendly and welcoming. One of the staff moved us to a quieter table so we would not be disturbed which was thoughtful. Big shout out to him. - Our waitress had a difficult time understanding what we wanted to order. This made the ordering process stressful and longer than needed. - The communication issues when ordering resulted in my friend receiving white potatoes instead of sweet potatoes with her meal. When I asked if the cost of the potatoes could be removed from the final bill this was refused. However, the waitress did not charge us for our waters because of the mistake. - We both ordered sticky toffee pudding, my friends one came quickly whilst mine took an additional 5 - 10 mins. Food - For the price, the food was disappointing. Our sides were tasty - Jollof Rice, Mac n cheese, and broccoli. We both ordered the sea food combo mix, including the king prawns and lobster tail (I got corn on the cob). The seafood was not seasoned, and the corn was more cold than hot. The ice cream that came with the sticky toffee pudding tasted like it had come straight from a supermarket. To conclude, the quality of the food did not justify the price. I won't be dining here again.

Most of the food e.g jolof rice, crocker fish etc we want to order wasn't available. So we went for other items.

I was with 2 young adult. One was there for the first time and wanted hot sauce on her food that we were having at the restaurant, we also brought food to go,we were told we had to pay £4+ for sauce and I don’t think that is in our best interest or even for the restaurant. At least open a bottle of sauce for your dinners to use . Bear in mind we DID NOT get the hot sauce. I can tell there is a new chef and the food was lovely. They also redecorated and it looks lovely

Aisha was my waitress and she was so lovely and attentive. Even helped me charge my dying phone behind the bar. She explained everything clearly and provided a lovely service. The food and drinks were also good. The Rum Punch and Bubblegum Mojito were my personal favourites. Thanks to Aisha for making my friend and I’s first time at Sweet1ne a pleasant one!

Food was lovely and the time it took for the food to come was fast.

Atmosphere was good. Food was ok, I really expected better after reading the reviews but can say it was lacking in the side dishes. Staff was nice! Drinks took longer than expected and came way after starters and main. Bless the bartender as she was the only one making all the drinks for the entire restaurant. Would I visit again, probably not.

I mixed up the booking but my first time experience dining at Sweet1ne in Chingford was great! It was 8 of us , the service was fantastic, food came out on time . My favourite dish was the Rasta Pasta .. full of flavour ! I would definitely dine here again.

Our table wasn’t ready at the booked time, but David apologised and ensured we were comfortable while we waited. Had to wait further for our orders to be taken but again David was very kind with recommendations. When the starters did arrive, they were stunning, both visually and taste wise. Had to wait again some considerable time for the main course but it was a busy Friday night and like us, most tables were celebrating birthdays. Food amazing, it’s just the length of time to get your food and drinks that let the side down slightly. But would still highly recommend it.

Arrived at 8.00 for our booking to be told the table wasn't ready and brought into the take away to stand and wait. 8.19!David came to take us to our table - wasn't at all impressed as it was my son's birthday and standing in a take away for 15 minutes was absolutely ridiculous. Before we had a chance to sit down properly a waiter came asking for our order stating we needed to hurry otherwise it would run into the next booking's time!! I stated that considering they were over 15 minutes late with our table due to the previous booking arriving 45 minutes late, they needed to stop rushing us. Service was atrocious with wrong orders being given, rotten strawberry's with the strawberry daiquiri's and the cocktails rushed and warm barely no ice. Overall a very poor experience, this restaurant needs to stop overbooking and provide a decent standard for the customers dining experience. Staff need training as the constant fake apologies were extremely annoying especially when you can hear them telling other diners the same thing. This clearly shows they are aware of the issues. Wouldn't recommend or return
