3 of us thought we'd give this restaurant a try. We had the fish and chips, steak pie and soup of the day between us. It was phenomenal food, tasted great. Prompt service. Nice ambiance. Will definitely go again.

We were looking for a nice place to eat before seeing a show on Valentine's Day and after viewing favourable reviews, we plumped for the Tap & Spile. We were not disappointed - we chose the 3 course Valentine's Special which was great value and the food tasted superb. The staff were very pleasant throughout and we will definitely visit again !!!

We had good meals and the staff were pleasant and friendly. We would recommend this restaurant for a pre-show supper. Well located on the canal for a brief canal side stroll to the NIA.

Amazing food and amazing staff. So attentive without being intrusive. Lovely area on the canal. Food and drinks value for money. We had a bottle of wine, 2 beers and 4 courses and was less. An £100.

Food very good, recommend the lamb chops. They have Timothy Taylors Landlord on tap. We were a party of 5, on a Thursday evening, pity they refused our Taste Card.

This was our 3rd visit and it never fails us, great service and fabulous food, the lasagna is a good sized portion, also red hot and full of flavour and you can't go wrong with their steaks, we haven't had a bad one yet
