Brilliant upmarket Asian food experience. Great food and great service. Excellent cocktails, with one made to my recipe, before ordering. Been before and will be back again!
The food was amazing the service was shocking. I will try again as I really enjoyed the food and it seems a shame to dismis going again because of the service.
Surroundings are nice and staff are attentive. However the food and wine let them down. We had the tasting menu with wines. The first two courses, with their white wines, were disappointing. The later red wines and desert wine were good. I enjoyed the scallops and figs most.
Stunning place in every way. Truly excellent decor, staff, service, food and good price too. Thoroughly enjoyed this place. It's a real experience not to be missed. I will certainly return.
First class, staff were brilliant! Food was amazing!anniversary meal out with the wife I think she really enjoyed it. Will definitely be returning , best Indian restaurant in hull
Fantastic service and really good quality food. We had the lunch menu which is value for money and has a good variety of items. I highly recommend this resturant.
Excellent food and service throughout the evening. Good menu choice for food and drink. Can't wait to go again. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Lovely food and exceptional service. They have a very comprehensive wine menu too. I would definetly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I will be coming back.
Second time to this restaurant, and I still love it. The food is very nice and they offer you attention. I only gave them 5 rating as I think they could improve in the staff organization. Maybe have a person responsible for the table all night rather than multiple people as they seem to get a bit confused.
Excellent service, first class food. One of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten in,would recommend giving them a try.we will be returning. Nick Blanchard & Kirsty Harrop Hull
Fabulous night at Tapasya. The food was wonderful and the staff were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. I have already reccomended the resaurant to family and friends.
Very pleasant food and quick service acoompanied by a very nice atmosphere. The food was outstanding, all of the courses and side dishes were of exceptional quality. The flavours combinations achieved are exquisit. The waiters were all very polite and attentative. Would definitely return again.
Excellent service and surroundings, the restaurants menu offers high standard dishes cooked with their take/twist on many very very good classical Indian dishes. All of the dishes we ordered were excellent, nothing was left, for me the only down was I had drove my wife and I to the restaurant, so the extensive wine list and very knowledgeable wine waiter was a waste.
Good service, food a little to spicy for me, good choice of food, would recommend but would make sure they are aware how spicy the food is
The food was wonderful. We thought we had booked for 19.30 when it was actually booked for 18.30 my fault and I am sorry for my mistake. The staff could not have been more accomodating and fitted us in on a very busy evening. Just go you will enjoy it.
The evening began with a warm welcome, into a beautiful bar area followed by attentive service in the ambiance of the main restaurant which is light and airy. The cocktails were spectacular, the wine list comprehensive and extensive. We asked for guidance & menu recommendations which were excellent. The service throughout was faultless; there was to sense of being rushed. Without doubt this is Indian cuisine to a new level. Without a doubt we will return soon. Highly recommended
Service and food were both below our expectations and what we had experienced previously. They were no longer doing the taster menu which had been the best part of our precious visit. They also made mistakes on our drinks. Overall they have slipped up a little and I no longer see them as fine dining, just a more up market curry house.
Food was excellent.Service was very good Waiters were very good, polite, smileing. We will definitely go again. The decor was good & very welcome if.The set up is good.
Fantasic food and drink , staff very pleasant, wanted for nothing , left very happy on our 26th anniversary 7th sept we are back for the gin night this week
We received a warm welcome and the service was efficient without being engratiating. The food was beautifully presented. There were some lovely spice combinations and the Biriani was a real treat, so moist and tasty with an authentic dough cover. a memorable evening.
Excellent service and care from all the staff. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely food although menu choices a bit limited for the main courses. Chose the Biryani and chicken curry which were brilliant and authentic as were the starters. Well done .
We had a very romantic time and the service was A* would deffo recommend to anybody ..im also a veggie and enjoyed my meal x
Excellent service and food. Would highly recommend the biryani. Presentation was great but not at the expense of portion size. Rasmalai excellently made also. Thanks.
Great food fantastic flavours, great service, very attentive staff. Good value for lunch. Family visiting enjoyed it immensely and will definitely return. Very authentic food, not your usual run of the mill Indian.
A upmarket PROPER Indian restaurant- not your usual 'Balti' House! Dedicated car parking- off road! Nice bar, polite staff. Well furnished, heated cutlery, clean napkins- all the right touches. A bit of a fusion cuisine attempt- works well. For the specifics: They have Cobra on tap, but no Kingfisher (sad!). Kids loved their mocktails, Mango lassi a hit. Good menu- order as many starters as people is my suggestion. The Seekh Kabab was really nice (but spicy) as was the Chat. A reasonable mains selection- very tasty. The bread basket was quite filling. We tried the Ras Malai (great!), Pheni (nice- could do with being dunked in more rabdi!) and Gulab Jamun equivalent (tasty). Got the teenagers' seal of approval! All in all, under £25 per person- so a very reasonable price for a filling meal.
