Had a lovely evening. Service was very good . I will definitely be going back. Had a lovely atmosphere. It was a set menu for new year but the price wasn't too bad

Enjoyable night out with good quality food. Extensive wine list. Great ambience. Good portions and cooked to a very high standard. Not for those with adversion to spice or for those who avoid a little adventure!

Real indian food with a good choice of meats including, venison, lamb, pork & even oxtail. My wife had a fish course which was excellent. Party of four, we all had a different dish and everyone thought it was tasty and we'll presented. Service at the table and the bar was very good.

Very cold in the main Bar and restaurant area. uncomfortably so. The toilets where so cold you didn't want to visit them. Food was excellent. Service very awkward.

Beautifully appointed new restaurant. Excellent menu and food quality. If the staff were a little more engaging and friendly it would have been 6/6. It was very busy so hoping for 6/6 next time!

The food here really is amazing! Still a few small teething problems with drink service, but other than that, a great place to spend an evening.

Ambience really nice. Good table waiting staff. Food unfortunately didn't meet the quality that was expected. Starters were nice, but main meals, Tandoori Poussin and Pork Vindaloo were particularly underwhelming. Not bad, but not great. Side dishes nice, especially the Ocra. 2 people, two courses, two bottles sparkling water and one beer £70. Wouldn't go again. Not good enough for the money.

Tapasya Marina has a fantastic atmosphere, modern decor and fabulous food. Our table was ready on arrival and we were not rushed at any time. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Very different to most Indian restaurants - great service and food lovely. Highly recommend for a nice meal! Have to write minimum 25 words so now writing this as I have nothing else to say!!

Really nice food, really good service and quick service too. Only thing that let it down for our experience this one time was, we booked a table for two, got walked past a free table to be sat right in front of the chefs where it was absolutely boiling and all we could hear was them talking and the sizzling. We asked to sit at a table but they had none left because they had sat someone else at the free table after they had already walked us past it. They did finally sit us on a table and gave great service but it could have been a lot easier if we had been put their first other than the people behind us.

Its a lovley restaurant and a nice atmosphere, but there was quite a few things that let it down on the night we went 1/1/17 which was the fireworks display. Firstly, the tables are so close together your chairs are pretty much touching and waiters trying to push through, service was very slow considering it was a set menu. Food was nice but not amazing flavours. Will return to try again when not so busy.

Great atmosphere. Lovely decor. Beautiful setting. Wonderful food. You'll love Hull and you'll love this fine dining experience which is very reasonably prices. Try it.

Food was great, service good once we sat at our table. Took quite a while for us to be shown to our table though, and we had prebooked.

Great tasting food. Under staffed for the number of customers. Confusion of front of house staff over reservations and table allocations didn't give a great first impression.

Tapasya Marina is a great restaurant in an excellent setting. The staff are welcoming and attentive without being intrusive and the selection of food and drink is great and of high quality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for business, couples and groups of people. It's not a cheap Indian restaurant, but the food and fine dining experience makes it value for money!

Delicious, imaginative food, attentive service and good atmosphere. Excellent location on the marina. We are looking forward to working our way through the whole menu.

Clean,good surroundings,smart staff and the food is excellent. Felt a little pushed to leave as the place became busier but overall a good experience. Would recommend.

So please we chose this restaurant for Christmas Day - we wanted good food, an informal atmosphere and no turkey!!!

Beautiful building tastefully restored providing a very nice restaurant experience. It is a lovely setting and really great service. Food very good quality. The style of food is quite different, my only suggestion for improvement would be a few options for simpler food with some at least more standard options

The food, staff and ambiance of the restaurant helped to give a great night out, would highly recommend this place to anyone, will definitely be having a revisit......

Poor service a long wait for starter and main course. We moved table as the over head heater was blowing hot air into our face. 3 starters arrived and we had only ordered 2. The main course arrived but not as we ordered but we decided to keep what we had been given. We were not charged for one main course as a result of this mistake. The restaurant is tastefully fitted out a feeling of quality. The food was excellent when we were eventually served and we would gladly recommend this restaurant even with the poor service.

I enjoyed the whole experience of our night at the restaurant. The soft crab starter was delicious and my lamb curry was equally good not too hot. My wife had two fish dishes she would return and have the same meal again. The atmosphere and decoration in the restaurant was excellent.

Christmas day lunch at Tapasya restaurant hull marina , great food and service , same again next year ! Thanks to all the staff .

Great location lovely meal and beautifully presented. We sat on the balcony and it was very cold. A bit put off by everyone having to walk upstairs past us to the loos. Overall a great night and we will come again but maybe in the spring/summer.

The food was nice but found the venue slightly pretentious and didn't appreciate being sat on a table immediately opposite the kitchen when most of the tables were empty.

Arrived to find a problem with power to the property. No suggestion of a complimentary drink whilst the matter was dealt with, just "we can't serve any food but there's the bar". Apparently not their fault, but customer service left a lot to be desired.

Beautiful restaurant in a great part of town. Very attentive, personable staff. Ordered and served efficiently. Food, as at the sister establishment on Beverley Rd. , was excellent. Only small gripe was the portion size - the mini naan breads exemplifying this, delicious though they were. Just don't arrive starving and you will love it.

Most authentic Indian food in Hull!! Also paralleled by the beautiful ambiance, great service and delicious wine selection. Definitely visiting again when I am back in town!

Delicious food, great surroundings, just service was poorly organised. Had to wait to be shown to the table by 'the manager', drinks were extremely slow to be served then we were told they didn't have the gin I wanted. Then they tried to serve us the wrong wine. Just basically poorly organised, staff were otherwise friendly and polite. Other table also seemed to be having issues with the service.

We had the Christmas menu and we thoroughly enjoyed all the courses. The potions were generous and very, very tasty. I particularly liked the ice cream and the little dumplings. Would we go again? certainly.

Lovely decor greeted at the door and our jackets taken. Seated and asked if we required water for the table and then gave us the drinks menu, once we had selected the drinks they gave us the food menu, small menu but i prefer that, we chose chicken with chili and the Lamb for starters these were both very nice the chicken was spicy! Mains we ordered Tikka Massala and Guinea fowl Biryani for mains with Garlic Naan, the tikka was the tastiest i have had it was creamy but spicy but also tasty will definitely order that again! The garlic naan was nice and thin and tasted of garlic which sometimes does not happen this was yummy. The Biryani was also nice there was plenty of meat which was nice. The drinks were topped up as we drank this was nice and the staff were attentive, sometimes a little to much though - when we first got there it was quite with only a few tables in and although there was music on it did feel a little awkward with the staff stood observing you there was to many all stood together once it filled up and they were busy with the other tables it was okay. We requested the bill and did not have any change for a tip so we gave £10 more in cash awaiting 2x £5 notes, we did not get any change back when we awkwardly had to ask for our change we got the £10 notes and £3 odd in change as this was already awkward we left the change, all change no matter the value should be returned to the customer.

Nice ambience, quality food, and the non alcoholic Very Berry cocktail was amazing. I can and will recommend Tapasya Marina onto others. Will visit again soon.

Our first visit to the new Tapasya on the Marina and we were not disappointed. We had visited their restaurant on Beverley Road on several occasions and the quality of the food has remained excellent. The new surroundings have been well thought through and this certainly adds to the experience.

Outstanding! Good and atmosphere excellent and service overall very good too. As good, if not better than so called Michelin starred Indian restaurants is London and south. Will certainly return.

Would really recommend this restaurant the food and surroundings are excellent a must to go back. Certainly a fine dinning experience at a sensible price.

Fantastic place and service excellent ,food pretty spicy but I don't mind spice but don't go there if you don't like spicy food because everything we ate had lots of spice in it

Fantastic food in a lovely setting. The tiger prawns in particular were very well done. I wasn't a fan of the wine from India that we had but of course that was our selection

While the upstairs to the restaurant wasn't finished (which is why I only gave it a five and not a six - very picky I know), the downstairs decor did not disappoint. It was a lovely, friendly setting for what turned out to be an unbelievable Indian dining experience. I'll be honest; I wasn't overly impressed with the menu in terms of choice - and maybe that says more about me than the menu. However, I decided to try something new and put myself out of my own comfort zone. I chose the crab starter and the sea bass for my main - as a rule I do not like fish. All I can say is WOW - Taste explosion! I love Indian food, but this place, seriously, this food was a different level. Even their own Indian IPA was very tasty. My partner and I both had a starter, a main, naan breads and a side of paneer...along with two drinks, a bottle of water and coffees it came to just over £66 which we both felt was exceptional value for taste. I've been to the Beverley Road venue and now the Marina venue and I would recommend them both to anyone. We will definitely return.

We received a warm welcome on arrival. Staff were very polite, knowledgable about wines/food and were attentive throughout the evening. It was refreshing to have a five star service and I am sure if I had ordered a desert they would have given me a fork with the spoon to eat it with as so many places seem to have forgotten this etiquette! Food was excellent, and there wasn't a long wait between courses. Hygiene seemed to be a high priority too. There was great atmosphere, would definitely go again

from the moment we walked in, to leaving after we had some beautiful food, was excellent. the service, atmosphere, food and drink was outstanding. would highly recommend to friends and family and will definitley be visting again in the very near future.

The venue itself is stunning - really well decorated and nice atmosphere. The staff are helpful and the food was delicious. The only downside is portion size and not a huge menu to choose from!

The food was very good as was the service and atmosphere. Only down side was the ambient temperature which was a little too cool for us. Would definitely recommended and visit again.

Great food great service in a fantastic setting, well done to all the team. We even had a bit of live music which only added to the experience.
