Lovely looking restaurant very romantic, The food was ok but not the best I've ever had service was to a good level. Would I go back probably not, maybe for lunch not for an evening meal thought it was over priced

Everything was perfect. Didn't particularly like what was on the desert menu but that would be my only criticism. I was full already though to be honest

The service at Tapasya on the marina was brilliant. They really looked after us. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning and had a fantastic night.

Great location and ambience. Helpful staff and efficient service although our waitress seemed a little evasive at times. Great menu selection included veggie options Very good food attractively served and plenty of it. More expensive than your standard Indian Restaurant (£45ph inc. drinks) but really more of a finer dining experience so price acceptable. Would definitely go again. Would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely surroundings, attentive service (a little too attentive for my taste), delicious and unusual dishes including plenty of veggie and fish options. Perhaps could have done with a few more dessert choices but overall a very enjoyable experience. A nice restaurant for a special occasion meal.

The staff were lovely very welcoming. Couldn't do enough for you. The meal was beautiful. Will definitely be going again. Would recommend this restaurant so different from your normal Indian

Absolutely fantastic place. Brilliant setting, coupled with brilliant food. All of this is served up by tremendous service. Will certain be visiting again and again

Met friends for lunch and decided to have the set lunch menu excellent value and a great mix of unique dishes all of top quality . Tapasya never disappoints wether it be lunch or evening.

Love the look and feel of this restaurant. Really classy. Good amazing. Not your typical "Indian cuisine". More delicious and different! Love this place service great.

Lovely surroundings, attentive and welcoming staff, food was enjoyed by our party of Four. Food was hot and visually appealing. Can and will reccomed. Try it!

Excellent food, particularly the lamb starter and tiger king prawn main which were delicious. Decor of the restaurant lovely also, overall a nice relaxing experience.

Great meal great service dishes just not to hat you think & presented do well will be going back would recommend to try but don't expect to see a curry !!

Great night with fantastic food. Rapidly becoming a favourite restaurant. Friends from out of town really enjoyed it and also commented on how good the food was.

Food was very good and different from the usual Indian. Great service and cocktails. Staff friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Will revisit again.

Exceptional food and service. Fine dining at its best. Pork was tender with zero fat. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Very attentive service all night.

The service and attention was lovely and the food was fantastic. The restaurant is very modern and cosy. My only suggestion is that a dress code be put in place, some guests did not make an effort and looked very under dressed for such a beautiful restaurant. We would definitely come back and recommend.

A great vbe in the restaurant, lovely service and a very different, subtle and sophisticated taste of Indian food. Most definitely, will be going again!!!!

I great night all round, will be back. Arrived early and seated straight away. The staff were friendly and the food was realy tasty. Great atmosphere in the room even though we had a late booking

Disappointing, service slow, food no where near as nice as the Bev road restaurant. Lamb dish was lovely but the tikka dish tasted like tomato soup. Hardly any met in it for £18. No prices available in drinks menu for standard drinks and we found a gin and tonic for £8.80 was really steep considering you could get it at butler whites for half. Also can't say the water the best considering that cost £4. Won't be goin again.

Lovely food,great staff and enjoyed the wine.It turned out to be one of the best meals we have enjoyed in a long time.We certainly be returning again..

Everything about tapasya is of a high standard, the food is delicious, well cooked and beautifully presented. The staff are extremely professional yet warm and welcoming and the venue itself set within a great part of Hull.

This restaurant is not only great food great location its very unusual food but well worth a try I was pleasantly surprise and would recommend

The food was tasteless and the service was far to quick another case of fur coat and no knickers we won't be returning. If food can come out of a kitchen that quick it must have been microwaved

An Interesting and flavoursome high tea. The meal was a twist on English Afternoon tea with Indian Snacks, Samosas, fried sandwiches and spicy dips. Very good venue, food and excellent service.

As always the food was exceptional but by their own standards the service was abysmal. We waited 30mins after being seated just for some water we had ordered as we arrived. We constantly had to ask for drinks during the meal. And just when we thought we were going to order deserts we were given the bill. Very disappointing as we love this restaurant

The food is absolutely amazing. The table in my opinion is a little small for 4 people when you get the food and glasses on. One waiter who collected our plates also tipped food from one plate to another at the table! I didn't feel this was appropriate and I hope it's not the norm.

Service was excellent and attentive. Authentic atmosphere with unquie, exotic interior. Exciting, fresh and delicious food. The whole experience was fantastic and I'd recommend to anyone looking for something different and exciting.

Excellent food and atmosphere - would definitely visit again. Only thing stopping me rating it a 6 is that they forgot our popadoms! But when they did arrive they were lovely.

Lovely meal, beautiful restaurant and very good service. Completely different from any Indian restaurant we have usually eaten in, very good location too, The great food was so well presented too.

Contemporary high class Indian food inside a similar interior with excellent service. Great location with a lively ambience - Not overly expensive considering the quality.

Excellent service and delicious food, third visit and always a delight! Have taken guests each time and we have all been impressed. Great advert for Hull, the view of the Marina is spectacular.

Lovely food and atmosphere but we were on a small table sandwiches between the drinks table and a column and in the direct passage way to the toilet with a breeze coming in from the door which spoilt the experience. The rest of the room looked lovely!

Great location, great looking restaurant and really nice food. Service wasn't the best, first the wrong food got brought out, then took over half an hour for our table to be cleared after dessert. Asked for the bill twice to be ignored and then took over 15 minutes to arrive. Waitresses were not the most polite, just taking plates without saying a word and didn't once ask how the food was. So unfortunately service ruined a nice experience for us.

Beautiful starter and main course, Tapasya make the most wonderful sauces. Service could be improved with incorrect drinks orders and a confusion over the bill. Also could do with a better dessert menu; I appreciate it is authentic Indian but nothing to stop additional puddings being available too!

It was a quiet early Tuesday evening, and we were one of four occupied tables, so the staff were particularly attentive. Food was for the most part wonderful - the red deer in the biryani was a little dry, but everything else was delicious. Quite expensive main courses given that some do not include any rice, but good range of wines for all budgets.

Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere. It is a shame the service is not up to the same standard. Disappointed not to have been given the full wine list.

I went to Tapasya on the 1st May with my sisters. The food was amazing and at first the waiting staff couldn't have been more attentive. At about 9pm we ordered some cocktails and then at about 9.45pm we asked for another round but were told that the bar man had gone home. We then asked if we could have another bottle of wine and the waitress was 'not best pleased'. Now I could understand if it was nearly midnight or some other ungodly hour but 9.45pm........seriously?. The waitress stomped off and almost threw the wine into the glasses. For that reason I give them 4. Having lovely staff is part of the experience............lose the attitude missy

Great decor/location/drinks choice.Food very good,but can be a bit Nouvelle cuisine.The Fish a good choice.Great place for a party or Business.Long overdue in this area.😎👍🥂

This is the third time we have eaten here. We have eaten in the the sister restaurnat on Beverley road a number of times too. The food was delicious and the service good. Would certainly come back.

Extremely good food - interesting and balanced flavours, quality ingredients, well cooked and well presented. The service was very good and attentive - but unfortunately the first three bottles of wine we chose from the list were all out of stock. The wine we did receive was good. The restaurant was lively and busy - it might be a little noisy for some - and is situated in an interesting, expensively appointed and attractive new building. We'll certainly be going again - we enjoyed it very much.

Exciting and delicious food from local sources- there was a range of options for all tastes. There was a range of wine available and the service was attentive. A great experience all round.

Staff were rushing not very attentive or friendly. The kitchen lost our order which meant a longer wait for our food. Restaurant was cold. Food was over priced.

Looked forward to our first visit having been to the excellent Beverley Road restaurant a few times. Service was very poor, Maitre 'D unwelcoming, walking around not appearing to be doing much and avoiding eye contact when we tried to get his attention. Waitresses were abrupt and unsmiling. We waited an hour to be served our starters, the food was very hit and miss, my liver starter was the best dish, to follow my oxtail was nicely cooked but the sauce was tasteless, the rest of our party of 6 agreed that the food was pretty tasteless. It is a lovely building but I feel it no way lives up to the Tapasya name.

Our first visit to the restaurant, fabulous atmosphere! We tried the set lunch menu it was delicious! The staff were polite and attentive. Will definately go again!!

Excellent experience, great staff and fantastic food. The interior of the restaurant gives a very pleasant atmosphere too. We enjoyed it very much and will come again.

Excellent food in a great place and with a fantastic "buzz". Staff are polite and friendly as always and, as regular customers, would always recommended to others.

Nice food but soiled by. Poor service. We ordered papa sums, starter and main. Long wait then starters but papadums never arrived. Offers them with our starters. Not impressed. Style over substance. Will not return. Prices do not justify the experience.
