Restaurant was closed. With some difficulty on a holiday weekend, we found a table elsewhere. Very disappointing! We felt that someone should have been able to notify us.

The good was delicious and the service was outstanding! We were visiting from Canada and stumbled across Tarantinos. Loved our meal and made sure to eat there our last night in Scotland.

I have been in this restaurant several times and always thoroughly enjoyed the meals but the one on Saturday night was absolutley outstanding. I had Gamberoni Picante followed by Vitella al Vino. Superb!

We have visited Tarantino a number of times now and every visit has been as good as the first. The food is amazing and as good as any meal we have had in Italy. Staff are excellent. We will definately be back again.

Tarantino is my favourite restaurant in the Finnieston area, Great attentive but not intrusive service, Wonderful food. Excellent value. Without the pretentiousness of some of the nearby restaurants, Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous meal. I had rigatoni with sausage. It came wrapped in tinfoil which was a really nice touch. Lovely restaurant with great service. Would definitely go back.

Booked for 8:00 pm on a Friday night in February. A small & intimate restaurant with a great atmosphere. Restaurant was just about full. Had the antipasti to start & sea bass as a mains - both were excellent. Would also add that the service was pitched just about right - we didn’t feel at all rushed .

What a wonderful restaurant. It’s a truly authentic Italian restaurant and the ambiance was excellent. The staff were so accommodating and made two of us main courses which were not on the menu. My veal Milanese was the best I’ve ever tasted and I’ve tasted a lot over the years.

Small cosy restaurant, ordered from the early evening menu, limited choices but the food was good value for money, 2 courses for £14.95, not the friendliest of staff though.

Cosy busy traditional Italian with a buzz. Food choices are good with a bit of originality, I had chicken stuffed with haggis. Staff attentive without being intrusive.

Excellent Southern Italian restaurant. Very reliable - some delicious pasta dishes but also steaks, fish, seafood and so on. Great Puglian wines - try the Primitivo. Service always spot on.

Had a pleasant evening. Its cosy and intimate and the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. A tad expensive I thought but well worth a treat. Well located and parking was not a problem. They readily accommodated a slightly later than booked start.

This was a birthday celebration and our first time at Tarantino Ristorante. It is a small restaurant with an authentic Italian feel to it. The service was excellent with very attentive and helpful staff. The food was lovely, excellent presentation and beautifully cooked. I will definitely be making another visit in the near future and can recommend.

What a fabulous dining experience, Service was excellent and the lunch menu could not be faulted. Great value. The barman makes a mean Negroni!!! Check the bill, because service can be added in. Ricardo

An all round great evening! Will return many times. Service and quality of food were excellent. £100 for two with wine etc. seems to be the norm.

Food was great apart from the wild boar meatballs which were dry and rather tasteless. Temperature in the restaurant was low with some diners resorting to wearing their outdoor jackets during the meal. Not sure if I would return.

Nice to look at and atmosphere. Sadly the food was not up to standard. I had the steak, which was supposed to come with a spicy sauce. The steak was not good quality and the sauce was just tomato and red peppers which tasted too sweet and no spice. At £26 for the steak, I expected more quite frankly. My g/f had pasta, which was so bland and really wasn’t good at all. Service was equally poor and so slow. Was looking forward to this as the restaurant looked good, but felt disappointed!

Really enjoyed the meal. Service was friendly and ambiance was good. Only disappointment was a king prawn starter that had one very tasty and succulent king prawn still in its shell and five less tasty and much smaller shelled prawns. When we asked we were told people prefer shelled prawns! However our pasta dishes were superb so no complaints there and we would visit again - but we'd ask for all prawns to be fresh!

Great authentic food and attentitive service. Nice cosy feel within the restaurant itself and very close to local hotels and sites at Kelvingrove. Wine was good too!
