Food was delicious as usual but service was very slow. Waited 40mins for our mains.

Lovely restaurant ! Been a few times recently .. however I had the wrapped lamb beyti .. it’s on the special a la carte menu. Considering it was £24 all I got was extremely small cut portions of the beyti no salad no rice .. hugely disappointed as was dry and the portion was so small just spread out on a big plate . I was catching up with a very dear friend So did not want to cause a fuss.. but really did spoil the experience.

Atmosphere and decor are amazing The food was great and all the staff were really friendly and helpful - we couldn't ask for better! Thank you. Definitely coming again!!

Absolutely love this restaurant from the staff to the food it’s always 💯 % you are greeted as you enter ambiance is always good , staff remember you if you have been before , spotlessly clean even toilets good background music , always offered complimentary drink when paying the bill wide choice of food and lunch time menu is such good value everything is cooked from fresh

Every member of staff were so polite and always made sure we were happy. They weren’t constantly hanging around the table either but there if you needed them. The food was amazing. like me if you don’t like spice then have the chicken shish or the lamb which tasted amazing. We expected the bill to be much higher but the price was perfect. Definitely going again and definitely recommend it.

We had a baby in a pram and requested a suitable table, where they located us was perfect. The food was lovely for me the portions were too big. We will definitely be returning.

I have been many occasions to Taz both lunchtime and evening and I have never experienced rude waiters. Our initial waiter came across quite arrogant and unhelpful as though it was too much effort.

We lived on Rettendon Common for almost a year and have kept meaning to pop in as we’ve heard great things about Taz. Went in for lunch today and it didn’t disappoint 5⭐️excellent , friendly service, fantastic food, brilliant atmosphere, fantastic value for money. We will definitely be returning very soon. First time visiting Taz and it did not disappoint. The staff were extremely helpful and patient. They didn’t hurry us along as we had lots to catch up on and were rather slow on each course. The surroundings were lovely, with a beautiful garden outside and the food was exceptional. I will definitely be going back .

As always, we enjoyed a lovely meal in this lovely restaurant with very friendly & attentive staff. It’s my favourite restaurant.

Without a doubt one of the, if not the best places we have been to, certainly in this entire area - from the moment we entered the welcome was wonderful - the staff were super friendly, very attentive, complimenting my wife many times which was so sweet. The food was super special - I am partial to octopus and this was the best I have ever had - just unreal flavour and texture - more like a prawn it was so well cooked! The decor is top top and every member of staff was smiling and very professional which shows what a great place it must be to work - This to us is a one off and many congratulations must go to the Owner Taz for running a fantastic ship. Big thanks to Mustafa who was beyond excellent in every way - we had a fantastic time celebrating our wedding anniversary and already planning to come back very soon. Will become regulars there for certain. Cannot wait to return - Highly recommended in every way. Thank you for a very special evening!!!

Excellent welcome and service on a busy Tuesday lunchtime. Food and drink came quickly once ordered and was excellent. There to meet up with an old friend the only downside was the overloud background music making conversation difficult. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Thank you.
