Without a doubt one of the, if not the best places we have been to, certainly in this entire area - from the moment we entered the welcome was wonderful - the staff were super friendly, very attentive, complimenting my wife many times which was so sweet. The food was super special - I am partial to octopus and this was the best I have ever had - just unreal flavour and texture - more like a prawn it was so well cooked! The decor is top top and every member of staff was smiling and very professional which shows what a great place it must be to work - This to us is a one off and many congratulations must go to the Owner Taz for running a fantastic ship. Big thanks to Mustafa who was beyond excellent in every way - we had a fantastic time celebrating our wedding anniversary and already planning to come back very soon. Will become regulars there for certain. Cannot wait to return - Highly recommended in every way. Thank you for a very special evening!!!

Excellent welcome and service on a busy Tuesday lunchtime. Food and drink came quickly once ordered and was excellent. There to meet up with an old friend the only downside was the overloud background music making conversation difficult. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Thank you.

Superb food and great service. Lovely to sit in garden after meal

We had a lovely lunch. After a time the music seemed to have been turned up, as we’re all over 65, it was quite hard to talk and listen. We had coffee out in the fabulous garden. Maybe some sun umbrellas would be good as the sun was hot and there was no shade. We did have a fabulous time and we will definitely return.

Second visit, this time for my birthday celebration and husband and son in law not previously been. Exceeds expectations Ilford food, service and atmosphere. Tables not too close together which is a real bug bear got me unlike other local Turkish restaurants. Taz beats them all!

Unfortunately some of the meals we ordered where not cooked as we requested however we where given all the apologies we could ask for and the evening was complimentary and we didn’t pay a penny.

We enjoyed the experience and will revisit, however the noise sometimes meant you had to shout to be heard on the table

We really enjoyed another lovely family birthday celebration at Taz. Delicious food & very good service. The only slight negative is the music is a little loud for people with hearing aids & makes it hard for them to hear our conversations over the music.

I love this restaurant! I have been very many times before and I am absolutely sure that I will go many times again. The food is excellent, the the lunch time menu is exceptionally good value, the service is extremely efficient and friendly. Definitely my favourite restaurant.
