For low-key and casual Japanese dining in Angel, look no further than Tenshi. Average spend here is less than £25 per person, for which you can fill right up on authentic sushi and sashimi, donburi and wholesome bento boxes. Then, given its location right on Upper Street and affordable selection of Japanese whisky, sake and beer, Tenshi is also a great spot to stick around for a few drinks with your mates after you’ve eaten. It’s one of our favourite Japanese spots in North London and we and the locals can’t get enough of it. Reservations are definitely wise.
