Friendly service and great food, we will definitely be back again

Perfect evening with our visitors from Italy - delicious food and fabulous service, as it has been since our first visit over 40 years ago.

A lovely local restaurant family owned and run so they do look after you. The dishes are not your normal dishes the name is the same but the cooking style is different but still good.

This restaurant was clean, with modern decor and comfortable seating. Staff were always checking that you were happy with your meal and if you needed to order anything else….. I went with a Zalfrezi, which included cashew nuts and with the giant garlic naan I was in heaven for every mouthful. We also had mixed pakora for starters with a lovely range of sauces and finally the coconut surprise, which did not disappoint either. It doesn’t matter how long it has been since your last visit, the staff are very welcoming which makes the overall experience just that bit more special. Can definitely recommend for any occasion.

Ashmaan is one of the best Indian restaurants. The food is delicious and the service is very good.

Me and my girlfriend went here yesterday for her birthday and it was absolutely amazing! The cheese and garlic nan was out of this world! Would recommend the ashmaan to anyone! 😃

Food excellent…. New menu great layout, easy to order up, covering all tastes and choices. All team members friendly, helpful and efficient. I travel over 10 miles to eat here, bypassing many other Asian cuisine restaurants. Well worth it though!

This was our second visit to Ashmaan, and once again it did not disappoint. The naan bread is by far the best Naan we have ever had, and we’ve eaten a fair few! The tandoori chicken is cooked to perfection. We will make sure we visit the Ashmaan whenever we travel up from Sunderland

A great meal as always, it’s a family run restruant and they are very friendly and helpful. The dishes may not be cooked like your normal Indian restruant but it is still very good

It’s been a while since I dinned here but glad to say the food is still as good as I remembered. I had a chicken poori for the first time here and really enjoyed it.

We have been coming to the Ashmaan for many years, the owners, the staff, the food is excellent , if you’re looking for a good I restaurant then you need to try here.

Lovely food and fantastic service from all the staff. Highly recommended. No alcohol policy however an excellent choice if soft and non alcoholic beverages.

Waiting staff friendly and helpful, good range of non alchoholic beers, impressive menu and great food.

Been here many times over the years and always great service and value for money. Owners super helpful and have done a great job of the refit of the restaurant. Well done guys
