Went on a Wednesday to take advantage of the Eat out to Help Out, loved it as usual. We’ve had a few takeouts during lockdown but it’s good to be back and to see everyone at the Bowler.

We went during the week to see what the social distancing measures were like. They were really well carried out, even down to the doors being propped open. The dining experience using the app was flawless; I’d happily continue using it. Would recommend.

First Roast Lunch after lockdown. All sensible precautions in place so it didn't feel challenging Food was delightful and staff very friendly.

Service great but the meat was very hard and potatoes was not cooked perfectly

Once we had sorted out ordering via the app Everything was great . Have eaten here several times , quality of the food and the happy and friendly staff has not been affected by the lockdown. Good experience . Will be back.

Good service as always, done a great job keeping everyone safe due to COVID 19. The new service App works well.

We have been here many times (it is our local after all), but this week we took some friends and noticed the soft seats are filthy, the buffet portions have shrunk and we left feeling we could do with a filler from somewhere else as we were still hungry. Not happy - possibly time to find new local...

Really nice food and good service. I would just improve on 2 aspects. 1.kids meals should be served before adults 2. More information should be on the menu of allergens including gluten free

The food at The Bowling Green is consistently good. I ate roast belly pork here for the second time last night and found it a good and generous cut, rich, well prepared utterly delicious. It was a very busy night and so rather noisy but helpful staff moved us to a quieter table when we explained that two of us were a bit hard of hearing. The service is good, and the waiter seemed pleased to learn what Adffogato is.

Great down to earth food, friendly, helpful service. Good options and understanding of gluten free.

Nice visit food lovely but short on veg I think as less than usual may have been running out overall a nice Sunday lunch
