The Chequers at Cutnall Green

The restaurant is an excellent place to spend an evening. The food, including the specials are always made to a very high standard. We experienced excellent service all night.

It’s been a while since we visited Chequers as its a bit of a drive to get there for us but we have always seen this as an upmarket gastro pub choice for special occasions so i booked it for my wife’s Birthday meal. The first thing that struck us was the latest menu which we found to me more limited than we remember and with a high proportion of more basic choices like pizzas, burgers and ham and eggs. My favourite used to be liver and bacon which was to die for but sadly its not on the menu anymore. Notwithstanding this what we had was all very good. The only negative point was that we were sat next to a large table with young children who were pretty noisy and running around etc - this can happen anywhere and not the fault of the restraunt but it did result in us eating up quickly and getting out rather than enjoying a relaxing meal. Overall we would still strongly recommend this place

The food and service was excellent. The staff were very efficient and welcoming. The menu offered good choice. Overall a very pleasent evening. Will definitely go again

Fine for an impromptu supper on a Monday night. Good choices on the dairy free (vegan) menu. My choice of wine not available but the beer was good

Honestly the food here is a notch above any other pub maybe in worcestershire! Absolutley delicious and very clever from the chef. Super warm and cosy.

Very enjoyable lunch with old friends at The Chequers. Everyone had delicious food and we had a particularly nice and efficient waitress. The duck special was excellent. We stayed late into the afternoon chatting and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Lovely little pub, attentive staff, original menu, great tasting food and good atmosphere. My only negative was that the brownie was more cake than brownie

Very good food and ambience. Great for a special night out as not cheap. Attentive staff but not obtrusive. Dog friendly in the bar where we sat.

Pleasantly surprised as not been here for many years. The meal and service were excellent and the staff all pleasant. Hope to visit again soon.

Had a wonderful meal, there is a great choice on the menu, and the staff were all lovely. Our visitors from Holland were very happy with their lunch.

Friendly and tasty! Easy to get to, plenty of parking and good atmosphere. Reasonable prices for quality food and efficient but not pushy, service. Recommended.

We had Christmas Eve meal with our son and his wife. The staff were helpful, friendly and attentive and our meal was delicious as always.

Great ambience , in a truly traditional unspoilt pub/ restaurant. Food was top notch , good value for the standard. The customer service was outstanding .

Celebrated a 21st in the restaurant, food excellent, as was the service. They provided balloons and a cake and really looked after us.

We went for breakfast and I have to say we'll be returning. Nice food served by pleasant staff at a reasonable price. I certainly recommend.

Worth a visit. Lovely menu and staff. The sea bass was delicious and my friend’s beef tasty and tender. Good selection of cheese on the cheese board to share.

Fantastic food and great service! Absolutely recommended. Looking forward to trying the beach huts in the New Year with the children and a few friends and go back again in the summer.

Lovely Sunday lunch, welcoming atmosphere and great staff. Once we saw the menu we decided to go for a main course and save ourselves for dessert ...sticky toffee pudding is highly recommended!

Lovely food compliments each other well and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Staff are friendly and polite even the regulars are kind too.

Lunch with old friends. As usual, food excellent and pub quietly buzzing. Perhaps the music was a little loud, but the food and service more than made up for it.

Staff always very friendly and efficient. No matter what you order the food is excellent. Next time we will try one of their heated beachuts outside.
