Had a lovely late Sunday lunch , the pub was quiet as most people sat outside enjoying the hot weather. Food was excellent, service was quick and always with a smile. Will definitely be going back soon

Service was excellent, plenty of staff with smiles all round. Food was pretty good, slightly over cooked pork but all hot and “homemade”. Been a while since I dined here but will return no problem.

Fantastic place. Booked table online. Large group but all food came at the same time, slight mix up with one meal but resolved quickly. Offers small portions. Standard portions are big! Food was lovely, all the kids polished their meals off too. Definitely recommend.

Much better than the hotel opposite! Staying overnight in Monk Fryston at the dilapidated hotel (avoid), but had happily booked at the Crown for supper. Lovely place - very organised and friendly staff and a great chef for good pub grub. Swift, smiling service and a v comfortable restaurant. Absolutely recommended

Staff were friendly, nice atmosphere and food was good and reasonably priced. However the website says they have Vegetarian and Vegan food but their was only one vegetarian option in the main courses!

Rowdy crowd in at the other end of pub but still couldn’t here our own party of 4. Meal was very mediocre for the price. Not a lot of meat in lasagne, fish pie must have been microwaved, it was that hot! Cheesecake disappointing. Shame as it is a nice venue with good service otherwise
