First visit in 12 years, last time was very poor so never returned there. this time we could not has been any more pleased , staff good and pleasant, food excellent, atmosphere good and warm

Nice food, lots of choice. Decent pricing too. Very friendly staff and rapid service. Good atmosphere and lots of outdoor seating. Lovely beer garden. Would recommend

The food was great but the tea was served with milk that was off, the second pot of tea and milk came but this time the cup was dirty. I got two 'for Gods sake' from the barman but he said that was aimed at the kitchen staff and and not me but as he served both I think that raises a quality control question in both items getting as far as me from the kitchen.

Once again an excellent time at the Crown. Food excellent and good wine selection. Friendly pleasant environment. Good Value For Money. Well worth a trip.

We all had an excellent meal and really enjoyed the freshly prepared food at the Crown Pub, Monk Fryston. Although the pub was very busy the service was prompt.

Booked lunch for mother’s day with my family. Food and service amazing as always. My family, who were first time guests were very impressed and I’m sure will now be regular visitors.

The food was great and the staff were very helpful. It was a very quiet evening, but as it was snowing we decided, that must be th reason.

Nice table for five of us. Good portion size (three big Yorkshire Pudding starter) Tender beef and pork with plenty of vegetables all served hot. Great service

Sunday lunch was great food, good service & reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. The Sunday menu has traditional dishes with a twist. The Crown is a great venue any day of the week.

Really warm welcome from all the staff. Our table was ready and we had plenty of time to choose from the menu. I had the chicken & Avacado salad and my partner had the fish pie. Would definitely come again

Smart and comfortable pub, food 'spot on' with portions not for the faint hearted. Definitely going again most likely for Sunday Lunch which I understand is very good

At the Crown Monk Fryston our first visit we received Excellent service and Good value home cooked food in clean pleasant surroundings. We will visit again in the near futures.

Excellent dining experience. The lamb had a great taste and was so tender. Good service from everyone. There was lots of atmosphere. We will be returning very quickly.

Excellent Sunday lunch again last week.Generous portions.Very friendly welcome at the bar. Have also had meal in the week and it was also very good and have a good variety on the menu.

Great food from a good diverse menu. The lamb shank fell off the bone and the mint gravy was superb. Fresh cooked vegetables were lovely. Others in my party had homemade steak and ale pie which I'm told was full of succulent steak in a rich ale gravy. Hand cut chips were hot with fluffy middle and crisp on the outside. The chicken curry was served with rice, chips or half and half was an option. Good range of deserts tempted us in the direction of hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, apple crumble and custard and vanilla cheesecake with a berry coulis and cream, all absolutely fabulous. Prices are just right for the quality of the food. Great service, it has been slow in the past but this time was very good. All topped off with a well stocked bar in tastefully decorated surroundings.

Very warm welcome excellent Sunday lunch with ‘proper’ Yorkshire puddings and superb beef!! Sweets generous and very tasty. All in all a great choice and value for money Will definitely be back

Always top quality food. The pub is well set out. Plenty of tables but a very cosy feeling. Staff great with a very large beer garden at the rear. Parking plenty.

The Crown Inn serves good quality food at lunch. The sandwiches are substantial and there are good choices of fillings. The pub has a nice atmosphere and is welcoming.

The Crown has friendly service and good food. The half lunch options are a good choice. Great value for money. Vast amount of gins on offer too!

Possibly the best roast dinner I've ever had.The beef just melted in my mouth the mash potato was buttery and very smooth gravy was silk like and full of flavour

Lovely food which was both timely and substantial in size. Unfortunately the weather was against us, meaning the kids couldn't play outside so there was much for them to do. Just a short hop from the motor way, it's well worth the diversion. Will definitely be going back when the weather forecast is better :-)

Really enjoyed it as it was a lovely restaurant and the food was okay. Good service however manager was quite abrupt and rude throughout our meal.

A lovely meal. Food is made to order and is well worth that little extra wait. Staff very polite and friendly. Highly recommend for a nice pub tea.

We always have a warm and cheery welcome when we arrive at The Crown Inn They serve a good hearty Sunday Lunch usually 2 roast meats then other options including vegetarian. The waiting staff are lovely and attentive but not intrusive. Likewise the bar staff . The whole experience is great and surroundings are well maintained and very clean will recommend anyone to try this place 5*.

Really good enjoyed the food and the service will go back again. Service was friendly not rushed but felt we had plenty of time between courses

The food quality and presentation was very good. Friendly staff in a welcoming environment. Could have achieved a higher score if we hadn't waited an hour and half for our food. Staff should have communicated reason for delay but didn't until we complained. We will definitely go again for the food and hope our last experience was a one off.
