First visit to the Crown Inn and the menu choice was varied. Ordered a salad for the main course which was good value for money and very enjoyable.

We booked last minute and we were so glad we went. The Sunday lunch was very good and the meat melted in your mouth, l had the pork and my husband said that the beef was just as good. We have been before but never on a Sunday so we can highly recommend their weekly menu too. The landlord and staff made us feel very welcome, we will be going again and soon.

Our first visit here and definitely not our last! We had the Sunday lunch and it was beautiful, food tasted lovely and fresh. The portions were large so after a starter and a main we decided not to go for the sweet, next time we'll leave out the starter 😊 The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will be back....

Many years since last visit which was a good experience. This time not so good.Staff friendly but long wait for meals. Meals were average pub food. The big let down was that a group came in with 4 large wolfhound type dogs and although in the bar area the smell was not acceptable to people eating meals. We spoke to the staff when paying the bill. They had had previous complaints and said they would pass our comments on to the manager. Will not recommend this pub to anyone and will certainly not visit again. Kind regards, John and Margaret.

Several friends here in east Leeds have been recommending your good food and I thought I would bring my husband and two friends for a trial run for Sunday Lunch. We were not disappointed and had a wonderful meal. It was helpful for the ladies to be told by the licensee that they have "smaller portions"on offer for the roast dinner which was a very generous helping anyway - but not outfacing. We spoke to the Licensee and his daughter; all very friendly and we shall certainly be calling again. I did book on line. We may have a run over week-days and see what is on offer then! Thank you very much. Marjorie and Bill, Templenewsam.

Welcoming staff and the food was excellent. The pub looks like it had been newly renovated. I can recommend the Fish pie and the Steak and Ale pie. A lovely evening.

Not cheap (£10.95 for a Sunday dinner main course) but well worth the money. Generous portions and everything freshly made and delicious, with a good, small menu for the kids. The main man behind the bar was very friendly, as were all the waitresses. Nice surroundings / decor too, and the beer was lovely (Tim Taylor's Landlord). We will definitely be going back.

Very friendly welcome by all the staff. We were staying at the hotel across the road and didn't want to eat there so found this pub and decided to take a chance. The pub meal was good for a pub and reasonably priced. Good choice and plenty of specials on the board... I'd recommend trying this place !

Nice village pub with good selection of beers and a decent wine list. Four of us and a toddler had a Sunday lunch. We all had different starters, but all went for the roast beef. Food was good and plentiful, and, unlike the usual carvery, you get table service, which is friendly and efficient; starters. though, were a bit ordinary and overpriced. The dining areas are reasonably spacious, and certainly not crowded, even when the place is busy (but note that car parking is somewhat limited). Outside, there is a terrace and beer garden, and then a big grassy area and a play area with various bits of climbing equipment which was a winner for our 2-year-old.

Our visit for Sunday Lunch was quite pleasant. We were served promptly and our meal was well presented and hot. The pork was delicious but the veg spoilt the meal there was not enough for the two of us and white cabbage broccoli ,and a few carrots is not very imaginary ! The staff and Landlord were very pleasant.

Lovely food, great service, lovely little place nice indoors and out. Great portions and good value for money. Limited by the menu only serve a Sunday menu with set options didn't offer enough variety especially for my partner who is dairy and onion free due to a dietary condition which was a real shame. It didn't make this clear online if I had realised when i read the menus online we wouldn't have gone.
