As per previous visits, our visit was an enjoyable experience. Good to see local produce within the menus and wine list. Some very interesting specials with pleasant blends of ingredients.

As always it was brilliant. I had a delicious vegan Wellington and my friend had perfect mackeral. All served with a friendly smile. More vegan cakes please!

Ive been meaning to visit for a long time and I am so pleased I made it as it was above my expectations. The food was so fresh and tasty and all the staff were such lovely people, I will definitely be back and spread the word, its a must!!

Went for air anniversary. We have been there several. Times and always have a fantastic meal . We had the wing rib of beef this time delicious. Staff are all lovely. And can’t do enough for you.

Lovely food, great service and a very laid back friendly ambience. Decor is quirky, menu is a little different from the norm, great choice but not to fussy. African Goat was delish, just melted in the mouth. This was our second visit and we will definitely visit again. Well done to all at the Curious Eatery!

The four of us enjoyed our visit, food was excellent and offers something different to elsewhere, drinks selection fine but beers restricted in choice, service was especially good.

It was our first visit, although I had been to lunch with my son. The food was delicious as was the atmosphere and the staff gave just the right amount of attention. A really lovely evening.

Really nice service from smiling helpful staff, good food served in good time, if I could make 1 suggestion it would be to vary the menu a little- realise its a small venue and all made on site but as a local I like visiting and so the occasional new item would be lovely

The best Sunday Lunch out I have had for sometime. The beef was beautifully moist and tender and most importantly there was a great selection of FRESH vegetables. Well done to the owners here, they have everything right.

Had our Golden Wedding lunch here last year and food was excellent. Every time we visit the food gets better and better and last night's meal surpassed all expectations. Unusual but very tasty and imaginative cooking and no trouble to provide a gluten free option. Very friendly and helpful staff too.

I have come to The Curious Eatery often with friends, Again this time i took a friend to lunch for a birthday treat. We both enjoyed the kindness, service Well presented food. The waiting staff were so pleasant could not do enough for us. We will certainly come again. Thank you

First time, excellent quirky venue will visit again probably in the evening or for Sunday lunch

Food standards very good..although the steak could have been hotter. We had to wait an exceptional period of time for starters and then a totally unacceptable time for main course which when arrived one meal missing ! Staff waiting on tables young and inexperienced . We had to ask for everything and remind twice we have requested extra water and coffees . Nice environment food good but service leaves a lot to be desired. A couple on the table next to our cancelled their order due to the wait . We were told the delays were due to everyone coming into the restaurant at the same time but a good front of house would manage this . After hearing good review we felt disappointed with our visit which is a shame as food quality very good. Front of house needs sorting .

Visited The Curious Eatery for Sunday lunch this afternoon after spotting some really positive reviews online. We both ordered the beef roast which was by far the best roast dinner I have had in a long time! (Maybe even the best ever!?) Beef was beautifully cooked, the whole meal was really flavourful with good portion sizes too. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout our visit. Couldn’t fault the food, atmosphere, staff, service or price, I will definitely be recommending this hidden gem and will be back soon! :)

From the moment we arrived from the moment we left our experience was excellent. As ever the service was not to much and just enough, the lady with long dark hair is a huge credit to the restaurant. Food was fabulous and wine . Love the boutique, have been 4 time now and will continue to come back and spread the word.
