The sirloin steak was a little tough and the chef too busy to serve up some fried onions. Little gestures like this go a long way to get customers back - but I appreciate you were all busy. Rachels goat ragu was excellent as was the squid starter I had. Bread and butter pudding glutinous, lacking in fruit and generally not nice

The staff are welcoming and attentive, I think what really sells it is the space between tables... most places pack people in this has completely the opposite feeling.

This was our first visit to the Curious Eatery and it didn’t disappoint. The service was very good and the food delicious with very unusual items on the menu which was very welcome. A great selection of drinks on offer and a lovely ambience we will definitely be back.

Introduced friend to The CE and was thrilled that she enjoyed it so much as this was a free of cancer celebratory lunch. The person who served us has a really warm personal touch enhanced the general ambience there and the great food! Added to which it was quiet and there was no sense whatsoever of being rushed. Will be back!

Second visit in as many months. Another great meal with friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. First visit was a Sunday roast. Superb. Second was an early Saturday lunch. The beef and blue cheese pie was very very good! Definitely recommend.

Nice intimate atmosphere with top quality food. South African hints - the starter squid was amazing and Malva pudding a suitably sweet ending to a delicious meal.
