If you are expecting to have a proper spicy Indian Meal "don't go there". The menu says "VERY SPICY" ah I thought I was getting very spicy when the chicken came it was nowhere very spice it had some spicy but I was able to have it without any drinks. When I came in I asked the waiter if he could make it really Indian style as I have been to India, worked with Indians so I know what it is like. I was recommended this restaurant and I thought I would get the authenticity. No way!!! They do the food for British Indians or maybe Scotish people. The bottom line is? why did you mislead me saying that you were the best while discussing? why id you say it was spicy when it wasn't? It was quite blend the flavour was very very light. I mean PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT if you are looking for AUTHENTICITY. It was a £22 bill. TOTALLY A WASTE OF TIME AND TRUST. I hope you get more clients who looks for authenticity like myself. REMEMBER quality is better than quantity.

3rd visit to the Dhabba. Maybe its us, but seems to have lost a slight edge. The wife loves the Dun Mukht but it didn't seem to have the wow factor this time. I had the Ragad Pattice for a starter and whilst the food was very tasty, it didn't seem to match the menu description. Looked more like three pairs of starters on a plate. But it was nice. The wife had the Subzi Tikdee as a starter and again what appived did not seem to match the menu description. More like a thick soup with pieces of raw onion in. We only come to Glasgow once a year and might be time to give it a change.

Excellent food as always. The only nit pick is that we are not great fans of the papadum starters.; but I would recommend this restaurant to all lovers of Indian cuisine.

We visited the restaurant with some friends. Initially our booking, which I'd made that morning, couldn't be found, but the restaurant staff were quick to rectify the mistake and we all enjoyed a very tasty meal. We were grateful for the effort made to accommodate us. While we were waiting for a table to be found, my husband and I were offered a drink. However we were disappointed when the bill came to find that we'd been charged for these drinks, which we had assumed were an apology on the part of the restaurant for the mix up over the booking. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful when making menu choices.

Very modern venue. Food is a bit more than your Indian takeaway. More up market...So if Indian food is your bag. You must give it a look. You will not be disappointed.

Overpriced for decent service and mediocre food It’s not the be all and end all that others would have you believe. I would have expected much better in the city centre.

Excellent food. Maybe a bit expensive in so far as I would come here on an occasion as opposed to ‘popping in’ on a Saturday evening. Service good. A good selection of vegan food- all indicated on the menu. Fresh ingredients. Definitely be back.

Waiter took order and then came back to table to check as he hadn't written a ythjng down. It was just as well as he had not Remembered the order correctly. He seemed disinterested and was unapologetic. The food was fine but nothing to rave about. Portions were not large but it was a taster menu. Restaurant was a little cold.

Excellent meal, great service, different menu from other restaurants. Although expensive, the monkfish dish was outstanding. However, when requesting soft drinks you automatically get the “gun” , so we had to change to bottles: much better. A small thing. The rest was excellent

One of our favourite Indian restaurants in Glasgow. On this occasion we had the early diner menu which was excellent value and the portions were just right. Service as always was friendly and attentive.

The Dhabba has been my favourite Glasgow Indian Restaurant for years and I have been many times. It is the first time I have been since the menu changed and I was frankly underwhelmed. The food somehow seemed to lack the flavour of my previous visits - though the lamb and chicken in the mains were really lean and good quality. The mixed starters were a bit of a mixed bag, nan a bit heavy and rice portion parsimonious and over-priced as a result. Maybe it’s just that I had such high expectations and the overall experience was just not there on this occasion. I think I’ll be trying some different restaurants in the future.
