Good food, great cocktails and the service was impeccable. I will definitely return, it is much better than Turtle Bay which is not authentic Caribbean food.

The food was good but the service is poor. The waiters/waitresses at no point throughout your meal come to see if you're ok, whether you're enjoying your meal or whether additional drinks are required. It would be nice if at the beginning of the meal they introduced themselves- gave their name etc and said they will be looking after us. However this didn't happen and we found that the only way to get a waiter's attention is to call out to them whilst they are passing and yet disappointingly they include a service charge in the bill, which is not deserved! We initially had a waiter who got our drinks order wrong- we asked for Strawberry daquiris and received Strawberry Mojitos, it then took a further 15min for the correct drinks to be brought to us. We shared a starter and the waiter offered to bring us an additional plate, which he never brought! We then had to ask another waitress for the plate, it appeared that waitress was then assigned to our table. We had our meal, then had to wait 20min after finishing our meal to get a waitresses attention for the bill. All in all I won't be rushing back.

Amazing food and music! Waiting time was nearly over an hour..it is a small resteraunt however not enjoyable waiting however they did apologise and accommodate us as soon as possible!!! food definitely made up for it! Amazing food hearty Caribbean food! 2 for 1 cocktails!! Always a plus

The food was exceptional. I brought a friend who had never tasted caribbean food before - now she is hooked. Keep up the good work.

Been to this venue twice and the food is delicious best carribean restaurant ever the food taste lingers on your mouth and the service is expectional.

Great food, service and ambience! I will definitely be recommending the venue and returning to sample some other dishes. This eatery is a very much needed addition to Croydon.

Great place to eat and drink, the food was really good. The staff were really friendly. ANd the 2for1 drinks offer is fantastic. Highly recommended ******

Bit over priced, the rice and peas was burnt, the curry goat had lots of bone. Not that inprest with the food, will not be going back again

I took my daughter to Dutchie restaurant for a pre birthday lunch yesterday. The service - Impeccable, Thank you Garfield. The food was to die for (I'm in love with the Chef whoever he is) The two for one Cocktails were the best I've tasted outside of the Caribbean (did not have to ask for a top up of rum - lol), I actually could not manage the second one and that is not like me at all - lol. My daughter had an amazing time and we will definitely be coming back and bringing the rest of the family. Well done Dutchie and keep up the good work!!

Food was very good but as the restaurant forgot that I pre-booked for the meal then all of our meals came at different times. ..

My first time however for a Monday it was very busy and we were waiting quite a lot. You need more staff. However the food was great.

Good food and service, the best Caribbean food I've eaten in Croydon. I would definitely go back and recommend the restaurant to others. The chicken wing platters were really good finger licking good.

Food was lovely full of flavour ,bit over priced . Waiting time for our food was a bit long but staff was lovely we was given a free drink an starter for us waiting so long .would definately go back

Waited 2 hours for food with a poor excuse. Although the food was good. I ordered jerk chicken which came with rice and peas and plantain which wasn't good but I ordered a side of roti which was dry and hard

This place is a great new discovery for me. The food is outstanding and the staff are friendly, plus the cocktails are great and are always 2 for 1! In fact I've been there twice in one week with the same group of friends!

BEST Carrabian Food Ever......my little version of Jamaica in Croydon. Excellent service, great prices. Love the 2 for 1 cocktails......proper cocktails. Hope they stay, excellent food. The noisy bit, is the music but I like it, I don't want to go to a dead quiet restaurant, that be just boring and weird, so I don't knownhow that is a negative, who eats in complete silence at a restaurant.

Food was fine, buy 1 get 1 free cocktails tasted like there was no alcohol in them, service very slow. Would go back if not really hungry

We visited The Dutchie Restaurant and Bar on a Friday night to celebrate friendship and good health. A good evening was had by all and we sampled both the extensive drinks and food menu.

Food was as expected and presented very nicely. I had the chicken roti with sweet potato fries. Very very nice and generous portion. My friend had lobster, this was small but tasty. Unfortunately the service was bad. The owner did apologise and gave a valid reason. We were also give 2 free cocktails each which was a great gesture. I look forward to going back to see if the srevive has improved.

Authentic foot so yummy Service amazing and cocktails were yummy Definitely worth a visit Group loved everything! We will be back very very soon! Amazing

Food was delicious. Went with the family and everyone enjoyed their food. Very large portions which is good. Had to take a doggy bag. Overall very nice and chilled place

Very slow service staff are unattentive and most definitely not trained in basic service. Startes poor quality for the price and took forever to come (chilli fish was more batter than fish and shrimp 6 for £6 lol. Mains is what managed to give this rating a 3 jerk chicken was definitely jerked and presentable and the same for the jerk salad. Drinks were ok.

Good food and cocktails, portions sizes are big and value for money. Rather casual and loud atmosphere at weekends hard to hear each other talk

Best Caribbean restaurant I have been to in a long time. I def recommend the nuff wings platter for the starter and get a portion of plantain to go with it. It's amazing! Main food portions are excellent for big eaters and the 2 for 1 cocktails had the room spinning last night for me..lol...thanks again guys for a great date night out with the hubby!

Very good. Nice food - excellent atmosphere! The waiting staff are very nice and welcoming and they will sort out a seating problem as quickly as they can, as they did for me last Friday..

Females waitresses were beautiful and polite but service was a bit slow. (it was busy thou) always a good sign. Score is Only 4 because I could tell my peanut punch was watered down. It tasted thinner than the last time. Also i noticed certain ladies footwear is very slippery on the painted shinny floor. Ill wear my flat rubber soles next time. Personally I did not like sitting where the big white florescent light is not romantic and not authentic.

There was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. I would have liked the food to be a little hotter but otherwise the food tasted really nice and I would return again.

Was rushed by the waitress, 20minutes into our meal we was asked if we was ready to pay and payed whilst we was still eating.

Professional approach to Service required. Slow and incomplete. No water on table. Drinks slow to arrive. Had to ask for cutlery. Food ok. Disappointing experience.

The food and drink quality is always amazing, and the staff are also great however service is always slow, booked A table and arrived at 8:30 got seated at 9, received drinks at 9:30 at food arrived to us at 10pm.

Fantastic food, great experience certainly one of the best Caribbean restaurants where the food taste authentic. The staff are hospitable. Will recommend this restaurant to a friend

excellent food!! Music sounded a little tinny, Staff could be trained a little bit more (smile, be confident because what you serve is FANTASTIC!) also please don't stretch over to serve someone else! Besides all this we had a Brilliant evening in a wonderful atmosphere.
