The Edgemoor Inn

Excellent food in a stunning location. Beautiful view from the table where we were seated.

Prices had increased since last visit. The desert at £7.50 seemed to be quite expensive. The food here is always good and the service friendly. We found the restaurant to be a little chilly and I got colder as the meal progressed. The car park has potholes which could do with repairing.

Very good service with delicious food I had the filo prawns to start and although not being a vegetarian I had the sweet potato Katsu curry with picked vegetables it was lovely Others had Panko chicken strips and lasagna thick was tasty and really good Definitely worth another visit

Had waited 3 weeks to get a table as I had read amazing reviews of the Sunday roasts. Very disappointed to turn up to find no choice of meat available only pork which neither of us likt

Pleasant atmosphere and well cooked food from an appetising menu

First time we’ve been in 15 years. It won’t be that long again. Wonderful food. Friendly service. Would’ve been nice to see a home made pie on the menu

Food was very good with plenty of choice, only comment from one of the party was that the sardines were slightly too oily but still very tasty. The seabass was very nice served with lots of vegetables which you would not normally expect. The sponge pudding was definately home made and very light. Everything was spotlessly clean including the toilets and the addition of fresh flowers throughout was a nice touch. Service was very good without being intrusive, knowlegeable staff and the waiting time was just right.

Excellently selected dishes on the menu at affordable prices. Attentive but not overbearing staff. Good spaces around tables. Will be eating at The Edgemoor again when children and grandchildren visit…hence comment about well priced and a good variety of dishes on the menu.
