Lovely evening for 9 of us Only 1 waitress and chef and then service was brilliant Quite a lot sat having meals too Our meal was very nice steaks cooked exactly how we wanted them excellent service

I’ve been wanting to go here ever since it opened, that was a few years ago but was always fully booked. It was definitely worth the wait!! The food was delicious (we had the roast whilst it was Sunday and the beef just melted in your mouth), the staff were lovely and the prices very reasonable. Can’t wait to go again.

had booked a table for 2 and was offered first table we came to not knowing there were 2noisey children sat beside us. Drinks quite expensive Food was very nice wasn't half price like we were told even tho we did have to buy a starter or desert. But will go there again on the Discounted evening as its worth what we payed

Been to fat bull on several occasions now but this was the first time we were sat upstairs, if I'd known this when booking I would have cancelled. The food was lovely as always and the staff polite just the seating arrangements let it down.

Service was a bit slow. Ran out of Diet Coke. I ordered chicken risotto and was very disappointed as my rice looked liked mash potatoes. Won’t be going back again

I visit this restaurant several times a year and normally love the meal but this occasion was very disappointing. We had rib eye steak but the cuts of meat were very poor quality. The mash and sauteed potatoes had no taste and the calamari was disgusting. Now unsure whether I will return again after this experience

I ordered mussels to start and a ribeye for mains, the mussels were fine, nice creamy sauce and nice bread. The steak was so tough I could hardly cut into it. I complained and fair play it was replaced with a very nice edible ribeye albeit the salad was a bit iffy, Overall it was disappointing but at least the problem was rectified. I would return but I'm not in a hurry.

Food you can't fault and service was very good but the place needs a bit of money spent on it looks a little bit tired

Friendly staff, quick service. I ordered steak medium rare it was not quite right to my taste. It was quickly resolved and the 2nd steak arrived 10 mins later and was lovely.

food and service was very good, large table next to us very loud, so much so that you couldn't really have a conversation, once they left it was more enjoyable.

Food was fine bar service was shocking had to wait 15 minutes for my partner recived her cocktail while i had nearly finished my drink

Food was good and so was table service, but we had to wait to a while to been seated as we where just left stood at the door.

Went for lunch with the girl's, loved it, food beautiful and great service, it was spotless and comfortable,very reasonable also... definitely be going back soon.

Phoned us and cancelled because of a technical fault in the kitchen . Gutted as couldn’t get in anywhere else for valentines meal . Hopefully will try again

Amazing food and service roast beef melted in the mouth and the homemade yorkshire puddings were out of this world . The dessert of apple and wild berry crumble was so moreish

Our 2nd visit and the ribeye steaks are excellent, tasty and the fat bull is a great spot to enjoy a meal. Always made welcome would recommend.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Fat Bull on New year's eve. The steaks were excellent and although it was very busy, the service and standard of food remained excellent.

We had another excellent meal at the Fat Bull. The fillet steak was really good. They must have really good butcher's suppliers. Always enjoy our visits here.

Good service nice meal. We would return there as it was an enjoyable evening. We would like a bigger selection of beers and wine, which hopefully they will have next time we go

Food poor. Three out of four steaks were tough. Service slow and the place wasn’t busy. Expensive; 6 people spent £200+. Ran out of beer.

We love this place. Steaks are cooked to perfection staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome, excellent value for the money, can’t beat a half price steak

My Husband Ordered a sirloin steak done medium. Firstly it didn’t look like a piece of Sirloin neither did it taste like one. It was colourless dry as a bone and unappealing. He isn’t one to complain so made the most of it. We were recommended by friends who rave about the Fat Bull but sadly we were bitterly disappointed. I orderd a Mediterranean wrap which would have been very nice but it wasn’t hot enough luke warm to be honest. Not the best night out although the bottle of Malbec saved the night. Needless to say we won’t be going back nor would we recommend it.

Fabulous food,great portions,lovely atmosphere,lovely staff and excellent service great presentation too, will definately be returning in the near future , great place for a family friendly meal

Food fabulous waiter/waitreds service excellent nice and warm in the restaurant lovely and clean environment together with cutlery and crockery steak to die for veg cooked to perfection would highly recommend
