Food was ok. Service was quite slow after eating main. Felt like we was rushed towards end of meal. Toilets wasn't great with no way of trying hands afterwards

I booked a table for 2 online which was very easy and our table was ready on our arrival. The place is compact but cosy, if a little noisy when full, but the staff are pleasant and helpful. I had the chicken in mushroom sauce with seasonal veg, my friend had the chicken in bbq sauce, both were ok but nothing special and nothing i could'nt make myself at home, and for £13 each they was over priced. We didn't have starter or desert and only 2 G&Ts each,however the bill came to £52 !!! I won't be rushing back.

Friendly staff and good service. Good quality food. Hot and tasty and well presented. The steak was also very tender. We will be visiting again soon.

Excellent service excellent food only down side later in the night one of the servers must have had a cigarette and smelled strongly off smoke serving the desserts . Shame overall very good

Really nice food (we had the set 2 course menu) with lovely tender roast beef and turkey. Good atmosphere and background Xmas music (but not blaring out for a change...). Highly recommended.

Really good food well presented and efficiently served. Good atmosphere with tasteful Christmas decorations and polite staff. Arrived at 4.30 and left at 9.30 and hereunder pressure to leave will definitely go back!

Fantastic Sunday lunch with the family. We all had the beef which was cooked to perfection. Possibly the best meal we have had in Ashton.

As usual excellent food and service. The bonus this time was seeing Oly Bell from ITV horse racing. Proves not just the everyday bloke eats there. The butchers block is a must.

Website advertised Half price steak which on arrival has changed discounted steak, approx a third off but only if you buy a starter too! Mentioned it to two staff members neither of which apologised. Tried to ring ahead three times during opening hours to check deal and nobody answered.

We are new in the area and had heard mixed reports about The Fat Bull, but decided to give it a try. we’re glad we did. It was a very positive experience. Good food, with a warm and attentive service. Will definitely return.

Great steak as always however the house fries were not as nice as usual much smaller and chewy. Other than that everything was great.

The steaks here are brilliant, and the service very fast. If you go before 7pm you get great discounts to. Also location is near to plenty of other pubs and the racecourse.

Steak over done when asked for rare and to cheewy chips teaste plastic and had send beer back to cloudy will not recommend this place

Starter was really nice but the steak was very fatty and the home cooked chips and onion rings where under cooked and oily. Prawns where just put on top of the steak in an unappetising way . For the price not the best quality

Had a meal at Sunday lunch time. the food was very good and presented well. The waitresses were pleasant and nothing was too much for them. The room we were in could do with being decorated.

Awesome meal, steak was excellent and the price is unreal. All of the staff are happy to help you. I will be returning and advise anyone to give this place a try

Hi called in the fat bull on 28/09/2018,ordered the 10oz rib eyesteak,it was the best steak I've ever tasted & will be back next year.

Top class service with great food every time. 4th time here and soon be 5. 6 of us attended and all starters and mains very very good

This was our first visit to the Fat Bull and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The food was excellent, well prepared and the stakes were cooked exactly to out requests. The value was good, for good quality food.

Restaurant was very busy when we arrived, it was race day at the nearby racecourse, not much room inbetween tables so felt a little hemmed in. Fish and chips were beautifully served and was very tasty. The rib eye steak was cooked perfect, medium, however the cut of the beef on this occasion was quite fatty with more than expected gristle. The Baileys cheesecake was perfect. Would definitely return to this restaurant.

We had Lovely food and the staff were friendly . We would recommended booking a table and check out the offers on Web page as good deals before certain times.

Amazing food as always, Sunday dinner gets better every week, just love the fat bull and great value for money, we wouldn’t go anywhere else in a Sunday 😋

8 of us enjoyed a lovely meal. 6 of us had the reduced price steak offer and 2 had wraps, all with fat chips. We all enjoyed it.

The Fat Bull was fantastic as always. The food was exceptional and with their famous Steak nights, if you buy a starter or dessert you got the steak at half price. The service was exemplary too. A great restaurant!

Food and waiting staff very good. Nice atmosphere,but little noisy at times,probably due to wooden floor. Overall enjoyable evening out. This was our second visit in a couple of months.

Lovely staff and venue Went to take advantage of 1/2 price steak night - Between 3 if us we ordered ribeye rump and fillet Ribeye not the tenderest however absolute bargain for steak venue Defo be back like all steaks treating ribeye as a one off and more than prepared to return back - Lovely night service not rushed
