Duck was tough, but after mentioning it to staff, we were given free sweets, which was a nice touch and made up for the disappointing main course

I have been eating at the fountain for years! It is always the best! Brilliant service and amazing food every time! It's my favourite restaurant by far!!

Excellent service from the moment we entered the Fountain Inn until we left , from all the staff that serviced our party .We opted to order from the "Prix Fixe Menu", ( 3 course option )and were not disappointed.Great Value for money.Excellent food ,well prepared and presented.We therefore enjoyed an excellent lunch served by very professional staff . My husband and I just had a very nice meal at The Fountain. We arrived rather early for our booking, but were seated well before the appointed time. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit

The food was fabulous with a great choice. Also flexible over accompaniments and sides which is always good. The pick and mix puds where you choose 3 mini desserts is a great idea although very hard choice as they all sounded lovely! Staff friendly and service good. It was beautifully presented food, with fair prices. the excellent service is recommended, as is the lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed our birthday treat and hope to visit again soon

The Fountain continues to reach a really high standard of food,excellent staff and enjoy going every few weeks. Today our friend said,they felt they had eat proper food,and that says it all. Really must book very busy.

Food excellent, nice Corey dining room in pub. Men's toilets smelt, the basics has not been done. Instead they had supplied individual towels, used once and put in basket, and a fancy curtain to the window, sort of things you would expect in high class restaurant (not the curtain).these things do not make up for an unkept toilet. I wonder how clean the kitchen was. Staff very good and prices reasonable

We go to the Fountain at least once a year (always for Fathers Day) & always have a great meal in a cosy restaurant. This year though, I noticed that the food came out differently ie small pots of chips, cauliflower cheese etc your main plate came out as normal however, just portioned seemed smaller for some reason. Wouldn't deter me from going back as quality was still amazing, just not what we quite expected.

As usual the Fountain was good from start to finish, the food is always good and nice atmosphere. Signature lamb pot roast is fantastic and is hard to beat.

Another fantastic meal at the fountain clent.food tops I had calves liver melted in my mouth my wife had feather blade of beef .she said it was the best she ever a eaten.staff so kind and friendly.we have visited the fountain 6 times this year .can't wait for the next time.
