Seated promptly. Ordered and served quickly. Excellent food. Really tasty well presented meals. Warning…. Wear loose fitting clothing! Started of garlic, mozzarella and Parma ham was delicious but huge portion. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Nice touch with personalised menus. Food was excellent and service was extremely efficient. As it was a quiet Monday, atmosphere was missing, however we were made to feel valued by the staff. We will definitely go again.

High level of service and food quality, thought the drinks were expensive though, about £13.50 for a Prosecco (small glass), pint of Estrella and a diet pepsi.3rd or 4th visit and look forward to going again.

We keep returning to this little gem time and time again because the food and the service is second to none. Never had a bad meal. Fabulous menu which changes regularly, with the exception of a few favourites. Welcoming staff nothing is too much trouble. Would and have definitely recommended to others.

It was my husband's 70th Birthday. We have eaten here before and really enjoy the atmosphere, food and service. Today was as good as previously experienced. Superb restaurant, food is excellent as is the choice of Ales and Wines. It can get a bit noisy when it’s busy as it’s a small dining area you can find yourself unavoidably listening to the conversation at the table next to you.

Amazing restaurant, the lamb pot roast is simply the best I’ve had.

Having visited a number of times previously we’ve enjoyed the quality and value for money. However on this occasion it didn’t come up to their usual standard. We checked the menu prior to booking only two hours before our reservation and an expectation as to what we would choose. The battered fish turned out to be haddock rather than cod as displayed on the menu. I usually have fish but was tempted to the roast pork to find that too was not available. The starters were fine, however, the battered fish was very disappointing due to the mediocre and thin portion size. This was exacerbated by seeing another diner at the next table tucking into a much larger fish which over hung the oval plate. At the end of the meal on being asked by the duty manager had we enjoyed it , he made the excuse that the cod listing was an error made by “ those upstairs “. Regarding the portion size no comment was made. On our next visit we will loose our English reserve and comment about the meal at point of service if we are unsatisfied.
