Friendly staff, good food. Excellent refurbishment but lacks a little internal warmness with decor, needs something to break up greyness of walls. Apart from that, excellent

Lovely surroundings, pleasant staff and fabulous food. Lots of choice, something for every taste. Really lovely evening with friends, no pressure to vacate the table or to order more drinks.

Very pleasant, atmosphere is what you make it whilst having the meal which I like to do, staff very polite, nothing went unnoticed, drinks were always topped up and replaced, food was excellent, veal hot pot lovely but too hot to eat took along time to cool down, dress code is entirely up to you be dressed up in glitzy ladies dress or in jeans sports jacket shirt for a man no one took any notice. Ceilings very low so if tall just watch a few of the light displays off the side walls don't hit you. Toilets very clean. We did ask about Christmas Day but unfortunately they fully booked on both sittings and have been since August. Well that says it all.....Go and try you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making our family evening for my dads 76 birthday very comfortable.

We were regular customers at the old Four Stones but had not visited for sometime. We we were impressed with the menu and the quality of the food, although my steak could have been a little warmer. We will definitely make a return visit

A great deal changed since re opening. A little chilly in glass extension. Staff very friendly .No Campari. We found the menue a little restricting, not a lot of flare. Meal overall ok, perhaps not quite as good as other local eateries, Also a bit more expensive. Overall we did enjoy our evening at The Four Stones and will try again.

Limited menus on a Sunday (mainly roasts or fish dishes from the market menu) but friendly, helpful staff and nicely decorated. Can accomodate small children.

Nicely renovated but did not realise the majority of the food was seafood, as I don't like seafood this was not a good choice of restaurant for me! Had a sandwich, as it was lunchtime, which was nice. The chips however were greasy and horrible. Service ok.

Excellent food , drink and staff. We were a party of 4 - everyone had very different meals including fish and steak, each one cooked to perfection. Menu caters for all tastes too, we will be back!

Like what had been done to place. Food nice, but not very Italian. VERY noisy. Feel that a large group of ladies spoilt the enjoyment of everyone on the groundfloor.

we enjoyed the meal, thought staff were over attentive although very friendly. The place lacks atmosphere and we thought the meal was poor value. We would possibly re visit but unlikely.

The food was good overall. They had run out of a lot of things on the menu so choice was a bit limited. Service was quick and friendly and prices reasonable.

We enjoyed the meal very much and our steaks were cooked just as we had asked for, however the main course did take a little longer than anticipated, but when we asked it came instantly . Sitting in the conservatory was the best place to be with the windows and views it shows, the main restaurant we feel need some pictures/painting up as it was a little bland. It is well worth a visit and we will definitely go back again.

Friendly welcome , attentive efficient staff, excellent food and service. Lovely ambience. Very accommodating there were 9 of us including a 2 year old boy and they adjusted the seating arrangement so the baby could stay in his buggy as the baby had fallen asleep later to bring in the high chair when he was awake with no fuss. Good value for money .
