What a fabulous find! Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and very welcoming for our family including our 8 month old. We really enjoyed ourselves thank you!

Always an enjoyable experience at the Fox and Hounds. Excellent service, very friendly and the meal was very tasty, well presented and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Table not ready so made one up in the bar area. Service slow, tempura prawns very overcooked, limited servings of beef available but the beef was good when arrived. Sprouts like bullets but other veg OK. Unlikely to return.

Fantastic food,lovely menu,amazing service ,they couldn't do enough for us.So easy to book online and we were greeted with smiles and welcomes.Would definitely go again.

My daughter and I went to the fox and hounds at Walton near wetherby tonight and loved the food the pub itself and the staff we will definitely be back and would happily recommend to anyone who loves great quality food!!

Lovely pub, lovely people who run it . Very accommodating as we have 2 people gluten free. Starters, mains and deserts beautiful. Will definitely go back again. Birthday meal. 😁🎂

It is a homely country pub with very good food & very happy staff. The presentation makes it feel special and yet the prices are most fair. We are always proud to drive out there and take our visitors.

The food was good and plentiful. The atmosphere just right for a gastro pub. Staff both young and older were polite and friendly. Altogher a good night had by all.

An excellent meal, delicious. The early bird menu represents exceptional value, so don't be put off by the low price.Staff very friendly & helpful as they always are. Really can't fault at all. Never been disappointed in several visits, it's simply a lovely environment. Make sure you book.

Very good food and friendly service. The Mussels starter was particularly good. The risotto was very enjoyable, the daily special pie also good. Well recommended

Pleasant service and friendly staff helped to make a really nice evening. Good food although there was a delay in service due t a large party, we were however informed that this was happening.

Fantastic food as usual. No complaints at all staff friendly and service faultless . Highly recommended had blue cheese mushrooms with walnuts and rosemary bread best starter I have ever had and duck was beautiful

Four is to eat. Good understanding of Gluten Free and obviously a good chef who can adapt meals to suit. Well priced wine and drinks. Belly Pork and Chicken with Chorizo cream sauce were excellent. Sadly the Steak Pie with Suet Crust was well overcooked. Hard pastry and dry meat inside. We were offered more gravy but that is no excuse for overcooked meat and pastry. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. So half of our party were well pleased and the other half less so.

Lovely food and great staff; very friendly without being too overbearing. Nice, friendly atmosphere Will definitely be returning soon (I can highly recommend the prawns to start!)

There were lots of good things about our visit, for example the overall ambience, the service and the starters. It was just the main course that wasn't quite up to scratch.

Having bought their bread locally at a farmer's market we thought we would try the restaurant while we had visitors staying. All the dishes were well presented and flavours very good. Relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Sadly not as good as in the past! No sausages and the replacement meat pie was too dry to eat but they did apologise and did not charge for it. The other three meals were good.

Lovely early bird meal tonight with girlfriends. The food and service were both excellent dispite the fact they were very busy. Would highly recommend you give this lovely pub a try.

Our table was booked for 7pm and we were delighted to find that it was still early bird prices until 7.15. The food and wine was good and the service very friendly. It was well patronized. There were 3 front-of-house waiters, which is excellent for the number of covers but service from the bar in particular still tended to be slow. Also, we would have appreciated if the hard wooden seats at our table were cushioned, as they were at other tables. These are just minor quibbles that we found on that visit, hence not a 6, but didn't spoil what was a very pleasant experience. We recommend it.

The food was good but service could have been better - forgot water plus when asked for the bill had to wait ages and then had to go and ask again even though the place was not busy

Super friendly and efficient service. Very good tasty Sunday lunch which was served hot with plenty of extra gravy. Nice selection of desserts with an assiette on offer for larger appetites. Very enjoyable.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Good value for money. Could have done without the rather loud racist bigot on the next table though. Would recommend for a meal just be careful who you sit next to.

As always the Fox & Hounds - Walton for Sunday lunch is one of the best venues providing great food. the staff are always excellent and polite often with little friendly and good humoured banter. We have dined at Walton possibly 12 times or more in the past years and the standards never drop. My brother and his wife when visiting Wetherby look forward to their Sunday lunch at the F&H' s. I am not sure whether they come to see us or dine at this lovely well ran establishment. Best regards and keep up the good work.

Fantastic meal. my father (91) said the two courses he had (fish stew and Yorkshire (Eton) Mess) was the best meal he had ever had! My mussels followed by fish platter we too much for me but very good.
