The Frenchie Bistro’s food is like the good-looking child of haute cuisine and American diner food. From one parent comes duck confit, from the other the ingenuity to present this on a bouncy brioche bun as an irresistible burger, with truffle mayonnaise and duck fat chips the perfect full-circle French-cum-American-cum-Frankified accompaniment. From there the French heritage dominates – deconstructed creme brulee, charcuterie & cheese boards and a fine list of aperitifs, vins and digestifs.
