Great service —really friendly staff, and the food was delicious.

The service was really good and food tasty but portions way too big. Ended up leaving nearly half the risotto I had which I felt bad about but was stuffed! We like the atmosphere in the George Charles but didn’t realise our table booking would be downstairs which was much quieter and nearly empty all evening - will definitely try to request an upstairs table next time. Overall enjoyed our evening and will be returning.

The service is friendly and excellent for a busy pub on a Friday night.Food reliable,always a good experience and we can take our dog what’s not to like.

Excellent roast dinner, nice atmosphere. Puddings were huge but delicious. Mix of staff...some were very efficient, some were really quite slow-it took quite a while to get either dessert or the bill.

We brought our 14 week old puppy out with us and the team where so friendly and welcoming! The food was delicious (as it always is), a lovely afternoon all round!

Enjoyed a Seriously good Sunday roast - we had delicious starters with cauliflower wings and chicken goujons. Clare and the team so friendly and welcoming.

Lovely food, great service and a relaxed atmosphere. Loved the live music on a Sunday just gutted they had run out of roast dinner but can’t be helped on Makers Market day.

Food was quick, tasty and the staff being very attentive. Would highly recommend to anybody. Booking was ready as soon as we walked in and sat and ready straight away.

Great venue in West Didsbury for drinks, cosy atmosphere. A shame the football was on though but at least the sound was down low! Will be back.

Walked in, staff at the bar looking disinterested. Didn't seem organised, however the food was great but not sure I would go again which is a shame
