Amazing food, incredible organised safe environment and service impeccable, highly recommend

Staff friendly and attentive. Venue was covid secure. First time visit based on recommendations but the food was just average. I was expecting better.

Six older girls who are not keen on going out much at present !!! We felt totally safe and well looked after service at the table was brilliant plenty of space between tables and the food was brilliant!! We really enjoyed our lunch time visit and the music was good too !!!! 😁😁😁🥳🥳

Great service and delicious food! Imaginative and tasty menu with several options for vegetarians, who are often treated as an afterthought. My favourite place in Lincoln to eat!

Great Sunday roast desserts and drinks. Very happy all round including Covid compliance. Appeared very busy and can understand why, judging by quality of food ,with good mix of people.

I was very impressed with the service and that the staff highlighted the food on the menu that was suitable for my daughters dietary needs. They were excellent and would definitely go there again.

This is not the first time I have been to horse and groom, amazing little dog friendly pub with delicious food, nothing is too much trouble.

There were 4 of us who were seated well away from other tables. The service was as good as it can be under the current circumstances and the food was very good. We are all happy to return there.

Very nice but very expensive for the portions which are served.

One meal Ordered didn’t have the dressing - should have been told before ordering

Food was delicious. Initially we were put on a table next to the queue for people coming in- we were moved to a more comfortable table and really enjoyed our meal.

It was so well organised with us living in these crazy times at the moment, we asked not to sit where we were asked too because it was a very small table & on ‘really, a walk way though the pub near the side door but they were really good & sat us at another table near the window. Service was excellent and food super, hot and tasted fantastic. Can’t wait to go again.

A beautiful pub inside and out with hard working staff. Would definitely eat here again. 2 small criticisms, it's not very clear where the car park is so the signs need updating and the dessert portions are extremely small for the price you pay. The mains are outstanding and very tasty.

Amazing food and service, with chilled atmosphere and good music, will be definitely coming back.

We had Sunday lunch and food was good I didn’t get as many veg as others in the party and my daughter got loads so maybe a bit more attention needed before serving plates . Staff were pleasant and attentive

An otherwise excellent return to one of our favourite eateries was marred only by the intrusive music - too loud and not conductive to a peaceful lunch. Something more muted and less intrusive needed. However, otherwise a very enjoyable visit and we have already booked again.

I ordered steak and ale pie.The filling was lacking in taste and the pie top crust rock hard. I will not be eating here again

The restaurant did not have all the dishes advertised and was extremely full. The food was excellent but due to the numbers of people service was slow

Staff were clearly too busy to be able to cope, as a diner I don’t want to be seeing this; they worked so hard!! Food was ok but wouldn’t return to pay full price as we feel it isn’t value for money

Table booked for 1:15 had to ask to be served at 1:45 food came at 2:20. Service slow no follow up to see if food was ok. Food was good but spoiled by poor service.
