First time visit, after one of our favourite walks. Good food and nice table where we could catch up with some old friends in a corner of the bar with the dog.

Lovely relaxing, homely atmosphere. Young gentleman who served us was a absolute joy to speak to, ten out of ten for his customer service. Food was very tasty and well worth the money

We have been to the Inn for lunch a number of times, the food is always excellent as is the service. My only quibble (as with most venues) is that the cost of a meal rocketed during the high cost of living crissis, but now that is on the decline, the price of a meal remains high. However we recommend the Inn as a brilliant place for a meal.

Nice Saturday lunch in a coaching in on the A40. Been here before. It does lovely standard pub food extremely well. I had the homemade beef pie, hubby had ham egg and chips and mother in law had an enormous bowl of their french fish stew. We were all too full for dessert 😀

A fine menu, with varied dishes, and well kept beers on tap. Well worth the drive to get there, and plenty of parking there too!

A warm atmosphere, welcoming and courteous staff (if a little scruffily dressed). The food was well prepared and the service fine. Overall a pleasant experience and a great improvem, ent on our last visit several years ago.

Not great, food was expensive for the amount and quality. We were in a corner and forgotten about every step of the meal… when someone did come over the were friendly and helpful but £18.75 for a roast dinner is extortionate for what we were served….

A nice roast beef dinner. Reasonable selection of vegetables, all came out hot etc. I can’t say it was a totally amazing roast lunch, what I can say, is that it was well cooked, & represented very good value. Under £20!! Polite & attentive staff too. A nice setting & atmosphere. Will visit again

Again and as always the food and service were brilliant. My only observation is that now the cost of inflation, food inflation and energy are now coming down, the cost of the meals should start to reflect this, but in concert with most venue's there is no sign of that happening yet. Nonetheless we will return later in the year, to hopefully find the price of meals deminishing a little.

I will not be returning. The restaurant was relatively quiet but we waited over 30 minutes for our drinks and 50 minutes for our first course. Rather than stay here for dessert we went elsewhere in Burford.

The menu for summer lacks in quality of choice. No steak? Portions were small though well presented. Value for money not great. I've had better here on previous visits. The Brasserie at Burford Lodge is hands down way superior.

As the pub wasn't busy we were disappointed to wait over 30 mins for main coarse. Some vegetables overcooked / undercooked /soggy, gravy poor standard with no flavour, potatoes were washed whites and rather than a roasting potato. Overall disappointed
