Lovely warm and friendly place with exceptional food and service

Lunch with our friends, we have been on a number of occasions, the menu is expansive and the food always good, we will return. GS

Friendly staff, lovely setting, warm and comfortable, and good food.

The host and service staff were wonderful, polite, with a smile, and up for a laugh, switched on with life, not just doing a job. the food was fabulous, the Best Turkey I have ever had, melted in your mouth, the others in our party all felt the same with there Beef and Pork. Hats off to the Chef. (they all said they will be going back on a regular basis. (I to them all it would be at the least good. Better than good was there answer) Highly Recommended Gordon.

Warm welcome on arrival from Riley...what a star. Beautiful rooms at end of corridor so quiet and last but not least, delicious food at both dinner and breakfast. Although we do eat meat, we chose the vegetarian options. They were outstanding! The whole experience was amazing.

Very nice food - we had great soups, sole and Thai fish curry served at a good temperature, very attentive staff, good value. Recommended.

Have dined here many times and have never been disappointed.

We had a lovely meal in the restaurant we are staying at the hotel and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. We’ve brought our puppy too and they are so friendly and making our stay fantastic we will be back it’s been a lovely break staying here and the food was scrummy. Portion sizes perhaps a little smaller than what we are used to but then we hadn’t eaten lunch so we were starving!! All in all a lovely evening and the staff can’t do enough, special mention to Riley for fussing Holly so much and giving us the five star service many thanks

Passing through on Christmas Eve and needing a decent lunch. The food was excellent and the service unfussy and not rushed at all. A lovely place with a good atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delicious but it was not very hot

Service was excellent but unfortunately I was brought the wrong meal. When I told the waitress she said don’t worry we won’t charge you for it…and the didn’t.

Our anniversary dinner was very nice indeed. Great food, Nice atmosphere and loved the fire, which unfortunately was left to go out as the evening progressed. Really good staff.

We both enjoyed our meals. Mine was very tasty (Duck) but a little on the small portion side which I did mention at check out and the staff are already aware of this. Very friendly, obliging staff from check-in to check-out. Lovely breakfast and not over-facing. In all, a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place for a stay/meal.

Superb, superb, superb. Warmest welcome we have had in the Cotswolds so far. Food was delicious and they have great choices of gin and beers available. We would come back again when back in the area 100%

We were a table of 5 last night (Friday) and we all had the most wonderful food, it was served hot, beautiful presentation and the flavours were fabulous. The young gentleman who served us was terrific, so polte, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. As locals, this will definitely become our new favourite place to eat in the area! Thank you to all the team!

We arrived half an hour early and they were very accommodating. The food choice was great and arrived quickly. Can honestly say it’s probably one of the best restaurant Sunday dinners we’d ever had. Very thinly cut beef, cooked perfectly medium and all accompanying vegetables were delicious

Lovely meal on a Monday evening at a welcoming location.

We were the only group in the dining too at the time, we met up with family members. As a result the service we received was personal and couldn’t be faulted. We hope to meet there again as it is roughly half way between us all.

Very pleasant and friendly service good food and drink .

I have no doubt that this inn restaurant had been rushed off its feet all day what with it being mother's day. In fact we couldn't get a reservation until 6.00 pm. In saying that the roast dinner was superb and looked/tasted as delicious. Full of flavour. Next time we intend to stay over so we don't have the drive home!
