Very nice meal. Meat was beautiful and tender. Vegetables were piping hot.

Carvery was good. Just a shame plates were not hot.

Our personal choice every time , because they have never disappointed. Always good food fabulous atmosphere brilliant service. We do always have the carvery again our personal choice. Love a roast

It’s was extremely busy. The food was fabulous has always. Service proved very capable. Very enjoyable.

4 of us, all went for the carvery but no room left for pudding having filled our plate with a really good carvery. We'll be back!

good food friendly staff will be back good value for money

A little disappointed with the carvery, vegetables were dried up from the heat lamps, roast potatoes were more like deep fried, mash was dried on to the sides of container which did not look appetisings, Yorkshire pudding were dried out and hard, and the beef was rather dry on the outside, why not cover meats and vegetables to prevent this? Normally great food, always friendly staff and good atmosphere. Please don’t spoil your reputation!

First time we have visited The Island Pool but we will definitely be back. The carvery we had was one of the best we have had plenty of meat to be had and the selection of vegetables, potatoes etc., were second to none. Staff very polite and helpful, cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We had been told by several friends to go here and to make sure we booked first. I did so using their website and so glad we came. Food was excellent, great choice of meat and vegetables. Can highly recommend here and we will be going back.

The staff were very good only criticism the vegetables were just Luke warm ,and broccoli to over cooked .we eat about 1.45 .but would try it again

Everything was great except for the odd customer wanting to pick and choose their table without taking into account that the place was extremely busy. I had no problems never a bad experience there.
