Lovely fresh food. 4 meats and freshly cooked vegetables at a good price.

Half price meals on a Monday. Good choices and a lovely piece of fish. Nice environment and friendly staff.

Restaurant quiet on arrival but soon began to fill up. Warm and cosy , staff very welcoming. Very good lunchtime carvery with good selection of vegetables and meat . Very good value for money.

The family went to Island Pool for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Good selection of food, well prepared and plentiful. The grandchildren loved it all!

A really good Carvery meal with a great selection of vegetables. Good selection of meats too and also possibility of ordering from main menu if desired. Staff helpful and friendly.

The food was excellent, served in good time and a decent portion size.

Food was ok. Nothing special. Found the veg to be overdone and watery. The peas had been under the heat lamp too long and were dry. Have had better and cheaper carverys.

I went for a meal with my girlfriend and the food and service was fantastic.

Genuinely think they you could be slightly more generous with the meat particularly with the upgrade of £1.50 for the large carvery as I literally had like two extra slices of meat compared to the standard size. Other than that it was very nice food.

Restaurant was very hot with a unpleasant smokey atmosphere obviously coming from the kitchen, could do with an air conditioning unit to make it more pleasant for diners! Food menu was quite limited & tasteless when it arrived, & the staff could do with learning how to smile! Toilets & areas of restaurant were mouldy, not a pleasant experience at all. Won't be going back!

Always come here. Been faultless every time. Helpful staff and very polite. The carvery was good all the veg’s were piping hot and the meat was great

Brought a friend along as she had never experienced the carvery breakfast. She was, of course, suitably impressed and will be returning with her friends and family ASAP.

as a great lover of all you can eat breakfast it was ok. plates and food could have been hotter and the the fried bread would have been better with the bread being thinner and a little less fat. Beans were a bit tasteless. Will try again soon

the food is lovely well worth the money and staff are very helpful

Absolutely fantastic meal, booked for next Sunday, couldn't fault it.the staff were lovely and the restaurant was so relaxing, hubby and I had a great time.

Excellent food, excellent service, lovely friendly atmosphere. I chose the regular size carvery which was plenty big enough but for £1.50 you could go large 😳no need for that. A nice regular menu too. Very reasonably priced and I’ll Definately be back.

Best. Carvery. Ever. Best book up as it gets very busy but it is so worth it. Breakfast carvery at the weekend and on bank holidays is also seriously good.

I would highly recommend the island pool,very friendly staff and amazing food.

9 of us went on half price monday .5 had the mixed grill 1 surf and turf, 2 beef lasagne and a fish and chips Brilliant portion sizes and really good food

Had Sunday lunch here and food was beautiful. Plenty of veg choices and 4 kinds of meat. We sat at 12 o’clock sitting so was not so busy. But I think later sitting would be much busier. Will be going back again.

Meat was very tasty and plenty of it . Most veg fresh but carrots dry and presentation not to usual standard such as not refilling as soon as empty .

We had the carvery. The meat was very dry and the vegetables were very over cooked. It was so our first visit and our last.

An excellent meal after some confusion finding my booking the staff could not find it on their computer although I had confirmed it earlier in the week. I will ring and book in the future to make sure we got a table not rely on email booking

One of the best carveries I’ve had, excellent value for money, wide range of vegetables, no restriction on Yorkshire puddings, friendly staff. Can highly recommend.

Food good. All had the carvery. Pork a little tough and broccoli overcooked but otherwise ok. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Toilets in need of a makeover.

Welcoming staff and reasonable carvery for the price. Good sized car park, so plenty of space to park the car. Set off major road for easy access.

Inviting attitude of staff is great. The food is extremely good. There's always a very good selection of Vegetables. Plus, most drinks are reasonably priced. Overall it's a Great Place to eat...

had a great time with my family,we all had the carvery and it was one of the best carveries we have tasted.the meats on offer were really lean,plenty on the plate, all the veg was cooked to perfection their was nothing to complain about.the tables were really spaced out and being a big guy I felt really comfortable,i would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff for making us really welcome,can not wait to return again,martin.
