Nice meal veg rock hard though could not eat it.
The staff were excellent and offered a good level of service. The meal was hot, tasty and an extremely good portion. Well worth a visit and will try and visit again.
Absolutely disgusting service. Booked table for 2:30 for my partners grandmas birthday. the table wasn’t ready until 3 so as it was a nice day we sat outside with our drinks. Finally sat down when Our table was ready, ordered starters and mains together, 1 started didn’t turn up as they never took it. Then an hour and half after main being ordered they finally came to tell us there was no beef available. We told the girl serving us that it was disgusting service and we was leaving then she then asked if we wanted free drinks. We politely declined and then she asked if we wanted to bill. After refusing to pay we then left and went to the Cornmill and the food was delicious, serve was perfect. Don’t ever use the manor!
Not hot, ham overcooked, got things requested not to, overall ok
Customer service was shocking. Ordered drinks had to ask where they were after 15mins. Ordered food had the ask again where our food was after 20mins
Well after usually raving about the place I am pretty saddened to say the breakfast meal we planned with family we well below standard! We didn’t get drinks for 15 mins after arrival. Waitress took all orders wrong and had to come back and go over them. Drink knocked over with no attempt to help clean up. Food came out all wrong only 1 in 6 breakfast was right. The waitress couldn’t work out the split of the bill even though I had gone through it all I could understand if it was busy but it wasn’t. All in all not what we expected and has left a bit of reluctance to go back
We all had a great time, food was good. We all had Sunday roast, couldn't fault it.
It was a Father’s Day treat. The adults food was very tasty, however the vegetables were over cooked and not enough for two to share. The children’s menu food ( cheese/ bacon burger was average at best). Possible the biggest gripe was the young staff were ill trained in hospitality, with us having to promt for menus and go to bar ourselves. A real shame because 4 years ago I would have given this place 6 stars.
great food, will come again, bar staff very helpful too.👍👍also not bad prices.
lovely restaurant, can't fault the food, prices were reasonable too
lovely restaurant can't fault the food, bar staff were friendly and chatty.
Lovely meal we all had and puddings Thanks great days
The Sunday roast was lovely - lots of meat! Very tasty meals - thank you!
The waitresses were very pleasant, but it took a long time for them to bring drinks/get our order. There only seemed to be two of them so another staff member would have helped both them and us.
Very nice meal plenty for the price, cosy atmosphere. Nice staff. A little too loud music for a Sunday lunch, hard to hear each other talk.
Good value, lovely food, allows dogs. What’s not to like?
good food which came very quickly and good service. would recommend.
Good food Good service Good company Good place to visit
We turned up with an extra person but they happily added a chair to our party of 8. It was very busy as it was bank holiday Monday, but staff coped very well. Still smiling when we left.
Great night. Staff really welcoming, couldn't do enough for us. Food excellent and the artist was really a talented.
The food was fantastic. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Thank you.
Unfortunately on this visit our chicken wasn’t edible, couldn’t cut through it and it was very pale as if it had been poached. We’ve always had really good food here till Sunday gone, they gave us 25% off, I would still recommend them
Poor service by inexperienced staff, incorrect order served to our table meaning extensive delays. Beef yorkie and pies were overcooked and gravy watery and tasteless. Table not cleared fully between courses, no spoon offered for soup, had to ask for knives and forks, had to ask for tartare sauce that should have been supplied with our meal. Whilst they were pleasant enough staff seemed under pressure on Good Friday. We have been twice before when service/food was ok. We felt let down this time.
Great as usual. And it is good not having to cook.
Very friendly staff, lovely food, the best chips and lovely atmosphere- would recommend a visit and I will certainly be returning
Great service. Lovely food. No complaints. Happy to recommend this place.
Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. Always a pleasant experience when we go.
We was seated very quickly and our drinks order was taken quickly but it took about 15 minutes to get our drinks, the order for food took about 15 minutes but the food arrived quickly but i must say it was only average, the stuffing tasted as though it was deep fried, overall the food was ok,the toilets on the other hand were awful as the floor felt as though it was giving way. They made the manor look great in the bar and dining area but the toilets are a safety hazard.
We always have a lovely meal at the manor, the young staff have always been very friendly, we had lamb shanks which was beautiful, the meat literally fell of the bone
wasnt told it was a different menu for mothers day so restricted choice but was lovely overall
Was a lovely evening with the family and food was delicious. Only negative was they had a singer on at 9.00pm which we weren't aware of. He was very good but really loud and we were unable to chat and hear each other talk.
We had the over 60s menu. Nice starter my husband had the soup, I had the chicken strips both a good size. The mains were nice but not enough. I have been other places locally and had more. We had a desert for £1 extra plenty of that, but would have preferred more on the main course. The The staff very friendly
Was going well until I was served cold mash. The waitress did bring more out when informed her. Otherwise food was fine
We love visiting here, it's become our new local for dining out the food is always lovely
We went for Sunday lunch and it was the nicest Ive had in a long time.
The beef was like beef use to taste. It was lovely.
A fantastic lunch, staff amazing and quality of food fantastic. Thanks
Booked late and so was unable to specify a table. Ended up sitting in a noisy area at the front near the windows instead of a booth I had in mind. Staff and food good. Next time would want to book further in advance to opt for table we wanted for more privacy, but for the price good.
nice welcome drinks orded soon as came in dinner order placed five minutes later came . not very warm was hungry so ate it . none asked if we wanted coffee or a sweet ,tried twice to get someones attention to get the bill .went to the bar payed their in the end .be better is staff had thier own area so customers no whi to ask .
Really enjoyed, it was a little noisy and kids running about but good music, Rugby on and great food.
