We had the 7 course taster menu, it was delicious, look forward to returning soon to try other dishes but will be hard not to have the same again.
Relaxing and excellent atmosphere and food. Indian cuisine and superb service-with lovely thoughtful touches such as free nibbles.Sometimes too many questions about whether you wanted more drink but overall a lovely evening
Very good Indian food. However you would expect that for the price. Some of the tastiest food I've had and the atmosphere and staff were great.
Excellent food. We opted for the taster menu. Group of 4 accommodating of non meat eater. Service good. Not in any way your typical 'curry house', delicate dishes. Great flavours and reasonable price. Great variety of fish dishes particularly. Will be returning.
Excellent birthday meal for my husband, lovely Christmas menu which included a delicious mulled wine. Very good quality and service. Excellent wine at a reasonable price. Thank you
Refreshingly authentic and fresh food with great flavours and attractive presentation. The tasting menu was a good mix of fish, meat and vegetable and was great value. Good service and nice layout and decor.
excellent went with my wife on saturday night early. we had the taster menu with a bottle of marlborough pino grigio. whole experience was great.
Very enjoyable meal. We ordered the 7 course taster and we were not disappointed, it exceeded our expectations. The service was very good and staff friendly.
Food was incredible, service and staff were delightful. The decor was spectacular, all very fitting. Would definitely come back to here and would recommend to others.
Lovely food and good quality. Bit more expensive than the usual Indian restaurant however it's a lovely treat for a special occation. Would definitely recommend.
Staff were fantastic , food was beautiful and really inventive, gorgeous cocktails too. Will definitely be coming again soon and thoroughly recommend The Mint Room!
Really excellent food, in a modern decor and fantastic service. The manager was lovely and found out it was one of our birthdays. He brought over a special desert and they sang happy birthday. Clean, modern toilets with Molton Brown hand wash...lovely.
Very pleasant and friendly staff. Unusual, but excellent cuisine. I would thoroughly recommend The Mint Room for those with a sense of adventure in food with added spice.
As a family of mostly vegetarians, there was lots to choose from on the menu and the dishes were more inspired than the veggie choices at many restaurants. Very good food and great service.
Excellent food, but expect to pay for it. Service was good too. Overall a pleasant evening. £60 for swarvoski bottled water was a little silly.
Very nice. It was busy but the service was still good. Good wine choice also and not crazy prices too. Will defo use again sometime
Our supper at Mint room was a lovely experience overall. The dishes are well executed and fresh and creatively presented, my tandoori chicken was very dry and it took a while for us to receive a wine cooler so our wine was drunk at a variety of temperatures. Staff are friendly.
Excellant food and very good service. They service good selection of Indian deserts. Best Indian I've eaten in Bristol. Would go again. 6 star rating
The Mint Rioms really are a cut above your average curry house. Superb food, attentive (without being intrusive) staff, chic contemporary environment. Would highly recommend.
Friendly and knowledgable, attentive staff. Great decor. Fantastic Indian food with a fine dining twist. Limited menu does not limit the flavour or experience. Not your traditional curry house, far far better.
Friendly and efficient service, excellent food showcasing the quality ingredients, careful cooking and nuanced seasoning and spicing. A good wine recommendation and a few complementary items sweetened the evening. Their take on modern Indian cuisine is thoroughly recommended.
Very nice deco and atmosphere and friendly staff. Food taste is authentic indian. Good for disable people for easy access, easy parking . Must visit
We had excellent food & service. There was a great ambiance too. Visited in Wednesday evening, the restaurant appeared very popular. Would definitely recommend it
Service very helpful and the best Indian food in Bristol by a very wide margin. A far cry from the standard Indian food offering prepared using the standard pre-made sauces used by the majority of Indian restaurants. We will return.
Excellent food and excellent service. The staff were very accomodating with our various eating requirements, a party of 8 with 2 vegetarians and a vegan. A great experience
Last minute reservation made for dinner on 9th April. The staff were attentive & friendly, and we enjoyed some light hearted and amusing 'banter' with our waiter. The food was delicious and good quality. The price we paid was appropriate for the high standard of our overall experience. Definitely recommended for contemporary Indian dining.
The best Indian restaurant for excellent food, great atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. I would definitely recommend the mint room in Clifton for a superb evening.
Absolutely fantastic! Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff! Will definitely return! The chocolate cover mint leaves when given the bill was also a great parting gift!
Excellent meal, the flavours are just great. We had a starter and main and the chicken tikka starter was excellent. The service was not quite upto the usual high standard tonight. We were not given the chance to have a drink before the meal as we were taken straight to our table and the waiters were slow in asking for our drink order and constantly reaching across our fellow diners with plates, which is a training issue. However, an excellent meal in good surroundings.
Lovely food, beautifully presented. Three of us had the set Christmas menu which had mulled wine incuded and they also brought one for the fourth person, which was a nuce touch. Staff pleasant. Service could have been slicker and more attentive.
Excellent mainly northern Indian food. Some old favourites and some new (to me) dishes all with a modern twist. Friendly service and a good wine list. Well worth it.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, good service. Food was expensive, but absolutely worth it - definitely the best Indian I've ever had, probably one of the best meals!
Lovely interior design and the scents when we walked in were very inviting. We went straight to our table so no comment about the bar, though it looked nice. The staff were very attentive. The service was quick. The range of food available was lovely, with a nice mix of fish dishes too. All beautifully cooked (the lamb was melt in the mouth tender) and delicately spiced with presentation you wouldn't find in the average Indian restaurant. I will be trying the tasting menu next!
Such a wonderful experience. I treated my parents and I to the taster menu, the food was beautifully presented and tasty, and such an attentive service. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.
This is our 5th visit now and each time we are made to feel so special. The whole evening was truly amazing...without a doubt the best Indian food in Bristol, made even better by the management and waiting staff who are true professionals. Can't wait till our next visit...hope to see you all again soon...x
The staff were really friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent and I would definitely go back or recommend the restaurant to a friend. Thank you!
Indian food with a nouveau cuisine style applied. Very nice and very friendly staff although it was a quite Easter bank holiday night so we were spoilt. Decent portions. Amongst the best of Indian cooking.
We regularly visit The Mint Room to enjoy the absolutely outstanding food and superb service. Cannot recommend highly enough!!! Definitely our favourite restaurant in Bristol
A Great Evening. Food and Service both good. Choice and range of menu items were really interesting and all of our party found something tasty. Food presentation was excellent. The wine list was also very good.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The food is of such a high standard alongside is absolutely delicious. We have visited twice and would not hesitate to return- returning too soon wouldn't be soon enough. The staff are fantastic, they have a wonderful sense of humour and ensure diners feel welcomed and comfortable. The only negative- our table was situated on what felt like a walk way, we were constantly being brushed past which didn't really fit with the exclusive dining experience the restaurant portrays. Other than that, would highly recommend to those looking to try some really special Indian food.
A brilliantly western take on Indian cuisine, loved every mouthful! Friendly service, fantastic venue and reasonable price (especially for the quality of the food). Only issue was parking, but that's not the Mintrooms fault!
The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had the tasting menu and enjoyed every course, particularly the white chocolate mint leaf at the end!
Wonderful seafood ... Indian with a twist. Attentive but not overpowering service.
From the moment we arrived, the service was first class. There was four of us and we all had different meals chicken, lamb, vegetarian which was all excellent . We will definatley be returning
Have been to the mint rooms a few times before and thought it amazing but our visit there on Saturday was very disappointing. We were sat down at the table 40 mins after our booking and that was asking 4 times if we could go to the table. We had to ask for everything - the menu, drinks, if we could order etc. The restaurant was just too busy and the staff didn't seem to have time to serve us at all. Such a shame as its one of our favourite restaurants in bristol.
really good food and lovely waiters. Not too expensive given the quality of the food. Went at 6 and were the first there. beware - sparkling water is £5.50 a bottle which is more then the beer!
A really lovely restaurant with an upmarket menu and focus on seriously good flavours. A good modern twist on traditional indian dishes. Great service too.
Excellent friendly service and fantastic food. Nice ambiance. Scallops perfectly cooked. Complimentary dishes were a nice touch. Also went with 3 kids who found enough dishes to enjoy. 2 vegetarians in group were happy with the selection and the fish and lamb dishes were very good.
It had been highly recommended so went along as our first visit. We were blown away. Great ambiance. Amazing food with excellent service. Will definitely be retuning very soon.
This is Indian food at its finest in terms of the quality of ingredients, presentation and service. My paneer makhani was a beautifully fine and creamy sauce and I could taste ithe sauce was made with fresh tomatoes. The food was exquisite and everything was perfectly cooked, (crispy bit soft in the middle Nan's, goregeous rice with no nasty artificial colorant additives and delicately spiced) no sign of any oil. The pinot noir wine by the glass was high quality (wines are clearly carefully selected for the wine list) and the service was professional, courteous, friendly and caring. We were asked several times how the food was and my feeling was that any problem would have been handled well (although the only problem was I couldn't eat any more!). This is my favourite restaurant- gorgeous designer decor, food, wine and service- a treat! Note it is very popular so I would highly recommend booking in advance.
