Always fantastic service and food at Mint Room Bristol and Bath. Highly recommend

Quite expensive but excellent.Very good staff.All extremely polite and helpful.Comfortable lounge area for predinner drinks and relaxing with coffee afterwards.I will definitely be back.Enjoyable evening.

Staff were lovely; attentive, friendly and polite. The food was delicious; flavourful and very well presented. The restaurant was well laid out and allowed for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

We had the tasting menu which was very good, vegetarian tasting menu just as good too, would recommend. Good service and nice ambience we will certainly be returning

Absolutely superb meal and service that lived up to all expectations previously provided by friends and family. The Manchester guests that we introduced who were staying overnight at Clifton for the Bristol City V's Manchester United football match were so impressed with the overall restaurant experience with friendly and helpful staff that a return to the Mint Room has already been planned for January,.... to make a circa 250 mile round trip speaks volumes, and to top off the evening perfectly Bristol City beat Man Utd 2-1 - What a great evening, with great company, food and drink .

We were treated as special guests. The food was elegantly served and tasted as good as it looked. The wine matched the food.We will come again.

Delicious food, good service. We had to move due to abou 12 men all talking VERY loudly, but the staff understood. 3 other tables also moved. Perhaps they should have a room for large parties, specially men who shout. Looking forward to going again.

It's nice restaurant located in a quiet residential area. The service quality is excellent, both the manager and people serving food made us very comfortable. Food quality and presentation was great. Everything arrived on time and ambience was good. I am giving a rating of 4 as I felt the price was on the high side and I felt something was missing in the flavor compared to my 1-2 favorite Indian restaurants around Bristol. If they improve the authentic flavors matching the presentation it would be get 5* rating. There is always scope of improvement..but as I say overall excellent place to try Indian cuisine. Some of the best that we have in Bristol area.

Great food, good service. Went with friends who enjoyed the whole experience. A great twist on Indian food, flavours I haven't experienced before especially the in house mint chocolate at the end

The Mint Room is fine dining at its finest. We knew we were in for a treat as when they served us the best poppadoms and chutneys we had ever tasted. The rest of the meal kept pace. Not overly spiced but very aromatic. Indian restaurants are often let down by desserts. The Mint Room is an exceptional to this rule.

Delicious food, fresh and well presented. Service was a bit intrusive and we were contacted twice to ask if we were going to turn up.

Beautiful decor. Food was delicious and good sized portions. Succulent and tender lamb, melting in mouth sole and wonderful tikka chicken. Wasn'T oily or heavy. Felt really good and pleased with everything. Service was impeccable and reasonable priced.

Amazing food, every course was delicious with plenty of choice. We tried both the lamb and chicken - beautifully cooked and all of the sauces were fantastic. Really friendly service - down to earth and good humoured. Would definitely go again for a special occasion!

Warm welcome, good food and good service - even though it was a busy Friday night! Word definitely return but choose something from the traditional Indian menu next time as I like my curry. But my duck was delicious...,just not as Indian as I would have liked. My fault though for not choosing more carefully! My husband had the chicken lababdah which was delicious.

Excellent food from a varied menu with lots of different options you won’t find on a standard Indian restaurant menu. Welcoming and warm with friendly service in a modern setting. Will definitely go back again.

The staff were very friendly and service was good. However, it was too pricy for the amount and quality of food. My husband enjoyed his biryani but my chicken mukhni wasn’t mild as I expected it. I checked the menu online and was really looking forward to order some dishes from the menu however it appeared on arrival that the menu was changed and the sea food dishes was not available as promised on their website which was disappointing. Their was nothing so special about deserts and tested like they bought them from supermarket. I absolutely didn’t like gagar ka halwa because it was completely black in colour instead of red and was only the size of a peanut in a massive plate.

The Mint Room has done what I always hoped would happen here in Bristol and they have taken the lush colours and flavours of Indian cuisine and placed them in the very European context of nouvelle cuisine. Go to the Mint Rooms to get your tastebuds truly tickled; each flavour is delicately presented and looks exquisite. When you can take your eyes off the food for a moment look around you and the same interesting and fascinating touch has been applied to the room, enjoy this as a setting of great charm, then turn back to your food and savour the excellent mix of fresh spices and herbs. You will find the service has the same charm and warmth as the food. Just enjoy it.

Superb food, excellent service, inspired chef with wonderful mixture of flavours and textures. Make sure to leave some room for one of the delicious deserts.

We chose to go to the Mint Room for a birthday celebration. The staff went out of their way to make the evening very special for us. The chef conjured up a birthday cake made from ice cream and decorated the serving plate. Our meals were superb and, thanks to the staff, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We look forward to our next visit. Thanks to you all.

Lovely restaurant with efficient and friendly waiters. The bar area is a smart area to sit and wait with a drink while waiting for a table. We did wait a while for our table but we weren’t in a hurry and the food came pretty quickly once we had ordered. We didn’t have the best table in the restaurant but we had booked very late in the day. It is pricey for an Indian restaurant but the food was excellent. We will be back.

Fantastic service along with stunning food made a very special evening for my dads 60th birthday meal. So accommodating but not pushy in any manor as you can sometimes find - a real hidden gem of a restaurant and the nicest Indian cuisine I have ever eaten. Thoroughly enjoyed by all the family thank you for a lovely evening

Great food, which really is a fusion of indian and western. Service generally good but was let down by one (but it was apparantly her first day!)

The Mint Room provided excellent food and service. Waiting staff were attentive without being obtrusive. All staff were very polite. We visited after having an excellent experience at Sholey which is in the same group.

Easy location, staff polite, observant and friendly, food was fantastic! Nothing like many places serving curry in fluorescent colours with a layer of oil on the top. Will happily be going back and definitely recommend it to others.
