Lovely food, great atmosphere and our waitress (whose name we didn't get,unfortunately...but spent some time in Perth, WA ...!) was an absolute gem. A lovely birthday meal experience for my husband. Thank you!

Brilliant - really great food and really good service and friendliness from the team. I definitely would go back for a high class dining experience.

Lovely Sunday lunch,had the two course for £16.50. Food very good and beautifully presented as always. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. A great place to eat/drink and will be back soon.

Great food Friendly and attentive staff, still the best sticky toffee pudding , and mango cheesecake excellent.good selection of beers and reasonably priced good wines. Very pleasant Sunday afternoon will be back

Enjoyed our visit to the Monroe. Lovely service, lovely hot food, Good location. Would recommend to anyone who wants a good evening out. Keep up the great service Monro.

overall very good. Staff very pleasant and portions ample and well cooked. Only criticism is that the prices charged for some of the items on the menu ,in my case mushroom tagliatelle, at £11.50 were slightly more than one might expect. The pint of real ale which I ordered was definitely not good but no doubt they would have changed it if I had asked. I certainly intend to go again!

Very freindly food good but not the best Sunday roast in Liverpool as they say! We waited nearly an hour for our main course. It's a nice place to go.

We had a very enjoyable evening, The food was good and the excellent service was provided by staff who were very pleasant, helpful and attentive.

Positioned in a prime location of Liverpool with a good innovative menu; specials in particular proved to be good value. However the slow service in this popular restaurant gave the experience a disappointing edge.

Excellent service from the bar and restaurant staff and one of the best Sunday lunches we've ever had. Top marks all round. Loved it and will definitely come back.

We love going to The Munro and you can always guarantee that the food is really good and it was - the only let down where the drinks - the 2 for £10.00 cocktails were in a wine glass and looked as though they had made them on the 'cheap'.........really disappointed and again the Gin and Tonic I had was just 'plain' - could have been a glass of lemonade with a straw and considering the price we paid disappointing... :( put us off going now...

Went to the Munro for lunch, this was not my first visit and as usual good food, good staff and good atmosphere. Was a lovely sunny day and the courtyard at the rear was lovely to sit and have a drink

Lovely atmosphere, pleasant staff and wonderful meal, thoroughly enjoyed are evening and will definitely be going again! Enjoyed a sharing platter, main meal and a shared desert, gorgeous!

the booking process,staff service.food and drink were all excellent.In particular,the Monday wine and dine deal.It was approximately 5years since my last visit and it definitely will not be that long till my next!

Lovely food, very helpful and polite staff who I cant praise more and the Monday wine club is a bargain! We will definitely be going again!!

The food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason we didn't give a 6 was because the choice of wines wasn't good but for £20 it was very good value!

Wonderful service but some dishes sold out we booked for 8pm therfore party of 6 could not choose preferred meal... really good value £20 plus bottle of wine

There is a lovely atmosphere in the Monro. An extensive menu. The food we had was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good range of reasonably priced real ales.

the staff were wonderfully friendly. the food was beautifully cooked and presented. I will definitely making a return visit in the near future when we have visitors from out of Liverpool

A great pub, with high quality food at excellent prices. We went on a Monday evening and had 2 courses plus a bottle of wine each (we could take what we didn't drink with us!) for £20. You can't beat that!

Went here for our sons graduation meal. 5 star food, service, restaurant and not bad prices either. Would definately eat here again and recommend to others.

Lovely place with friendly staff, the choice of food was excellent, went there for sons graduation meal, staff took time out to chat and I learning this got a complimentary drink, a lovely touch - our food was fab well presented, tasty and just enough. Will definitely be back.

Eve meal on a Friday. Buzzing atmosphere. Reasonable choice of dishes. Couple of good choices for a vegetarian. Beautifully presented & delicious. Friendly staff. Very enjoyable evening.

Staff where very attentive, I had the salmon for starters beautiful, husband the soup. Which he said was very nice. I had the hake for main which was beautifully cooked , my husband had the fish and chips large! Which more than filled him! All in all a very nice meal and we will go back.

Gorgeous fresh food. Reasonably priced. Polite staff. Would totally recommend to anyone that wanted fresh made food every day. Beautiful cocktails, lovely for any occasion.

We had a few problems with the drinks but it was sorted by the very friendly staff. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We had a great time.

The restaurant has a nice feel about it, the staff are very friendly and helpful but unfortunately the food was a little bland. We all had a Sunday roast. It was very generous but the meat was a little tough and the roast potatoes had very little flavour. The gravy in particular had no taste at all. The wine was good and not over priced.

Service is wonderful; food is delicious. very good atmosphere. it's always my first choice while dining in Liverpool! The complimentary bottle of prosecco is absolutely fantastic!
