Fabulous food and lovely friendly staff. Very good value, highly recommend. Already looking forward to another visit.

Food was very good. The restaurant itself was too hot inside with no airflow. And they sat us next to a table with a 3 yo not controlled by the parents.

Location carina, cibo abbastanza buono, servizio molto lento. Non esattamente economico.

It felt very rush ! Like they wanted us in and out. Our meals were thrown on the table. Definitely not the experience we were looking for.

Nice setting and atmosphere. Food was delicious - ordered the day’s special scallop and mussel; venison (since it’s mentioned a lot among Google reviews) and salmon. Service was good paced for us - not too slow nor rushed.

It was a restaurant recommended by friends vacationing in Inverness. Certainly lived up to its reputation.. friendliest staff, fresh/ locally sourced food, and creative use of ingredients. Interior is unique. Definitely include this restaurant on your list when visiting Inverness! Book in advance!

L'assaisonnement des plats était grossier, c'était mauvais. Par exemple la sauce salade était trop vinaigrée, et il y avait bien trop de sauce soja dans l'accompagnement du porc, on ne sentait que cela. Le service était correct mais pas souriant. La bouteille de vin que nous avions commandée avant tout le reste pour la commencer en apéritif nous a été apportée après le premier plat.

We went there for lunch after a tour of Inverness. We were seated promptly and our waitress Donna was very attentive. The food was tasty and was delivered quickly. We would certainly go back again if we had more time in Inverness.

Have had lovely meals in The Mustard Seed but unfortunately our meal this visit was not nice. Side orders came after the meal was served and we had to ask about them. I asked for a sauce to be separate and not put onto the dish, after the waitdress clarified this the meal came with the gravy all over it. The veg was very hard and the fish dish that was ordered came cold. For sweet I ordered the custard tart, which was not nice and I was not able to eat it. Staff did not return to the table to take our payment. First time I did not leave a tip, which I would always do but felt this meal was very disappointing.

Wonderful warm welcome, fabulous food and wine and service, all perfect, have been coming here years and years and years, and its never been disappointing.

Great service, great food! We enjoyed it very much and are happy to recommend it to others.

We arrived at 8:17 for our 8:30 reservation. The waitress forgot to tell us about the specials. We ordered then had to request water later. It took 15 minutes to receive the wine we had ordered. Our dinner arrived at 9:24 p.m. and the ribeye was way overcooked. I never send meals back to the kitchen but I could hardly cut it. The manager arrives to tell me that the middle of the steak was medium to perfection & it was only the outside that was overcooked. Huh?!? They cooked another steak for me. Half of it was okayI; much was overcooked or grisly. It was better but partly overcooked as well. 2 other tables complained about the time and their food. By the time we ate, it was 10:00 p.m. We and other patrons kept grabbing Zander to help us. He was very competent. Other waitstaff of so much.

The table my husband and I was very disappointing it was up the stairs and my veiw was the stairwell and all I could see was staff rushing around not the best experience and the food was average wouldn't rush back, we were offered another table but we had all ready started eating so just stayed put.

Although the food was good, and the atmosphere was nice, I felt like the service team was odd--my server who took my order seemed a little militant and unfriendly, barking orders at other team members. Not a good vibe.

Noisy, even upstairs. The Blood sausage appetizer was excellent! The char siu not even close. Take it off the menu and consult a Korean in HI. Veggies drinks and wine perfect.

Perfect! Great menu, comfortable ambiance with attentive staff. Nice delivery time between courses and a refill of water without having to ask. Steak was cooked to perfection!! Everything from the cheery welcome to the “have a lovely afternoon” as we were leaving was on point. Will definitely be back.

We were a group of ‘old schoolgirls’ from Skye on their annual reunion lunch at the fantastic Mustard Seed Restaurant, yesterday. We got a great welcome from the brilliant staff, had an excellent and leisurely meal and were treated like royalty by our lovely, patient young waiter! We had a most memorable dining experience in this amazing place. Thanks to the cheerful, hard working staff.
