The highlight of our visit to Inverness! We were here once before (in 2010) and our fond memories were fulfilled on this visit. The menu has excellent options and our selections were delicious and satisfying. The service was spot on, not too slow and not to fast, just right and relaxing. Already looking forward to our next visit some years from now.

Great place, excellent location, wonderful atmosphere and. very nice food. Felt a bit less personal with service on autopilot, but other than that a place we highly recommend.

We've dined here many times for over 25 years, and we're pleased the same high standards are being maintained since the change in management. Staff are professional, friendly, and very efficient. I was very happy with my choice of Monkfish which was very imaginative and tasty. My husband was disappointed with his Duck which he thought was underwhelming, and lacked quantity and quality. Hopefully this was just a glitch in an otherwise favourite restaurant.

Phantasie - und geschmackvolles Essen, eher ungewöhnlich (endlich mal Käse zum Dessert!) und preislich (Lunch) sehr fair! Wein so lala. Ingesamt sehr gut, wir kommen wieder!

I can see why this place gets rave reviews! Our meal was fabulous, and beautifully plated. My steak was cooked perfectly, and they had a good variety of specials available. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again!

Food was good - 1 of our 4 diners did not enjoy their meal, but the majority did.

Beautiful food and great service. Only point to note is that my daughter ordered a dish with creamy curry sauce which turned out to be a lot spicier than we thought it would be, however, we love this restaurant ❤️

Waited 40 minutes for our starter, other tables who came in well after us got served far quicker, steak arrived had to send it back as undercooked, so disappointing

service great, had requested a window table upstairs, not available due to large bookings but we had a drink downstairs & then were shown to a table upstairs. The food was delicious, we had the surf & turf skewers & haddock fishcake for starters - both delicious, salad & dressings were beautiful, light & fresh. Followed by mains of tuna steak & caprese filo tart, again, both not heavy, very light and portion size just perfect. We finished off with desserts of cheesecake of the day and apple crumble - both amazing. Price was good for the level of cuisine, service was great, long enough between courses without being too long.

The service was wondering but sadly the meal wasn’t. We had steak that both of us sent back. We couldn’t cut it let alone chew it. It was very disappointing as we didn’t have time to go anywhere else before the theatre or order something different. We have been there before and the meal was very nice then. It was shame. It was a ver poor cut of rump.

My first visit and won't be my last. The lunch menu was very reasonably priced for 2 courses and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful.

Was there about 5 weeks ago and had a brilliant exxperience, this time notso good. Starters (Mussels) and Smoked Salmon exxcellent, probably the best mussels i have had in years as they were big plump and Juicy. Main course(Venison) and ( Chicken). The Venison was asked for Rare came out medium..... The waitress offered to change it, but as I hal already eaten a third of it I declined. The Chicken was just OK and not very well presented.....Veg selection poor. Poor selection of desserts.... the Apple crumble was a disgrace... very little apple and overcooked crumble..... cheese selection was straight out of fridge.... no time to breathe..... The waitress was exceptional as was the Hostess who greeted us on arrival. Hopefully we just caught the Kitchen on an off night. Will be back.......
