Good food and great service, as always. One of the best places to eat in Inverness.

Pleasant waiter, but food was very slow to arrive and one portion was lukewarm. Prawn linguini nothing very special. Been coming here for years, but tonight was just "ok".

We had a fabulous meal at The Mustard Seed tonight! The service and choices were outstanding. The food and presentation were top class. We could not fault anything and are already planning our return.

What service. A young man who was serving remembered what we had to drink sone weeks ago. What a standard of service. Everything was excellent.

The food was poor. When the waitress came to ask how our food was, I was about to say that I was disappointed, but she didn't wait long enough to hear what I had to say. I would hesitate to return

Late dining so disappointed that several specials were not available. We still enjoyed the experience!

The diners were on a full-day tour with Innes Carma Tours. They advised that the dining experience was excellent!

My server was so pleasant. I felt very welcomed. And the food and view was incredible. It was so nice to have wait staff that actually treated a customer as a customer, unlike so many places in the US.

White wine was warm, linguini cold, setvuce indifferent, at best. The food would have been excellent, if only it had a better supporting cast, the review would have been better.

Delightful experience… delicious food pleasant atmosphere and accommodating staff my husband’s highland fillet was over cooked slightly, they happily gave him another perfectly cooked… Best review-We decided to reserve for our second night here in Inverness

Very busy and poor atmosphere. Starters were very poor and whilst mains were okay not enough to lift the visit.

The food was excellent. The only issue was that they were very busy setting up tables for large groups and our main courses were not hot when they were served. We could hear the bell being rung from the kitchen for service. We commented on it and hoped it wasn’t our food. Sadly it was.

Absolutely awesome meals. We did the early pre fix and had a top class meal for not too much cost. They wine options were amazing as well. Best meal in Scotland. Would go back but we had to go to another city.

Amazing venue, food and staff. The service is truly exceptional. In my opinion one of the best venues in Inverness and hence why we always plan our lunch there when visiting this beautiful city.

Mustard Seed, is a must anytime we visit Inverness, friendly staff, excellent service and excellent food choice, always of great value and taste.

Staff very efficient and good food. Door was left open and the fire wasn’t on so it was a bit chilly.

Very nice restaurant in an excellent location. The food was great , the service was excellent and the atmosphere too. We had a great table upperstars with a great view in the river.

It was extremely warm upstairs. Made it very uncomfortable. Not great service either.

The service, although adequate, could have been a little more attentive. A number of tables around us, who were seated much after us received their drinks and bread long before we received ours. Once we placed our orders, things seemed to fall into place. I suspect the staff are relatively new and not overly experienced.

Drinks and appetizer (fried haggis) were great. Entrees were good but not outstanding. Worst part was that it was SLOW. We were interested in dessert but because everything else had taken so long to that point (over 90 mins) we decided to pass. One server looked like she was really working hard.. the others just kind of seemed to be floating around without accomplishing a whole lot. Our waters were empty for some time, dirty/empty plates sat on the table for a while before they were cleared.. just didn’t seem like great attention.

Excellent as always. We use this restaurant frequently and love it.

Service was a bit slow tonight, however our meals were really tasty. New Chef in the team, so all good.

Very disappointed this time unfortunately. The starter was lovely but our main courses were bland with broccoli too uncooked to eat. Chose lighter courses in anticipation of having the usual beautiful cheesecake only to find it’s been taken off the menu which was a huge disappointment. We won’t be back. The waiting staff were lovely only good comments about them.
