Great food, service and staff, will defo be going again, would highly recommend this pub, think it is the best carvery I've had for a long time.

Always pop here when im off work, if carlsberg did cavery's it still wouldn't beat it, food always hot, staff friendly & approachable, little problem with one of the deserts, so only paid for one, that was a very nice guesture, & very good customer service, keep up the good work

Lovely home cooked food at a great price. Easy to book a table using the online quando service. Nice atmosphere and polite waitresses and bar staff. Highly recommend and we will definitely go again!

Great choice of vegetables and beef, gammon or turkey. Very good prices. I would recommend the Nailers to all my friends and family to Sunday launch.

Visited Nailers Arms many times before, Excellent as always, staff welcoming & very efficient, food superb, nothing too much trouble,10/10, would highly recommend, will be back soon!

I went with 3 generations of my family. The girls were very pleasant and attentive. Shame they did not assess us when we arrived and swopped us to a table near the door we arrived in instead of leading us to nearly the furthest table away which was by the other doors. Every time someone arrived there was a terrible draught and my poor elderly father had a long walk then was sat in a draught.

Another excellent meal at the Nailer's Arms. This time we opted for the famous carvery. Prompt friendly service, delicious food, nice ambience and ample parking.

Friendly and helpful staff. They noted my e mail regarding my son's allergy and checked he could have the food he wanted. The children's menu was just right for my 10 year old.

Always a great Carvery with good service in very pleasant surrounding. Also a good choice from the normal pub menu. Booking in advance is advisable.

The food was brilliant as it always is, the beef just melted in your mouth it was lovely.Unfortunatly I didn't have room for a pudding I was too full.

Really well looked after and lovely food as usual. Have now been here about a dozen times and never had anything to question or complain about. Will keep looking but i am beginning to think this place is perfect!

Friendly and efficient staff. Good food. However, I found it a bit noisy. I know the restaurant is justly famous for its carvery but if you don't want that the menu is a bit limited.

The beef was lovely. The roast potatoes caught a bit but was still nice on the inside. Staff lovely and helpful will be coming back

Very relaxed, not rushed or pressured to have starters. Carvery excellent price and quality, Son also had chocolate fudge cake, great value at £2.49. Already booked to go again.

When we arrived the staff were very welcoming and helpful they checked on us through out the time we were there and the food was absolutely beautiful we had the carvery

Good food, good value and really helpful staff. The restaurant is modern with good furniture and fittings. In the summer there are really good outside sitting areas as well

Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. Overall quite good however the meal portions rather large which meant they was too large to eat and therefore wasteful.

Friendly staff, helpful and timely. Food was excellent value, particularly the carvery. Atmosphere pleasant and spacious. Good range of desserts. The Eton mess was excellent.

We are regular users of The Nailers Arms. We enjoy the Carvery served at lunchtime and our latest vist was up to standard. The popularity of the pub is obvious as it is always packed when we visit and it would be wise to book for a lunch.

This was the first time I have been to this pub. Very friendly & welcoming staff & a smashing meal. So good I booked my retirement party there for 18 people. Regards Derek Fudger

I don't think my message that I put on the booking about requiring a high chair reached them but it was no trouble for them to fetch them. The only thing that didn't come across as very friendly was that we were 'warned' that we only had the table until 8.30pm. It wasn't actually a warning but the tone in which it was said made it sound a little unfriendly. The guy carving the meat was friendly as always and polite and chatty elwhilst serving us. The carvery food was very tasty as always.

Had excellent service from entering the Nailors Arms, to being seated orders taken from extremely pleasant staff ( always the case I might add). Slick delivery from the Carvery together with hot quality food. I would also add that although it was Saturday lunchtime and restaurant busy the speed of service was fast.

We visited the Nailers Arms after it was recommended to us by a business colleague. The staff were extremely friendly, the service and carvery were superb. Good real ales. Definatley going back again.

2nd visit .first time was glorious.lovely selection on menu.opted for carvery as 1 st visits was soo good.this visit not so great.only opted for turkey.got 3 measly slices.when I asked if I could possibly have a little more as not having other meats or Yorkshire pud or roasters.I was told sorry no that all you can have!!!I would normally complain.however due to the delicacy of my visit with hubby.a scene would not of helped.I had pre booked valentines eve.unsure now. Husband opted for steak 1st visit 10/10 (better than beefeater )&gammon this visit.he enjoyed both.

Always a reliably good value and tasty meal. Only criticism is that lots of others think the same so getting a table can be difficult!

The Nailors Arms is excellent for a carvery although they also do other meals from the menu which are freshly cooked. The service is quick and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Very warm welcome from staff on a cold, wet day. Excellent range of beers and really good carvery, with huge selection of vegetables. We'll definately be back.

We had a warm welcome when we entered the pub.We had soup for a starter,it was tasty,full of flavour.I then had a carvery,it was the bast I've had. I would recommend the Nailers Arms,it's great food and great value for money.
