It has been a number of years since we have been to the nailers arms and the first time under the new management. We will return very soon. The food was excellent and both in taste and value for money. I had the carvery and my wife the salmon. The staff were friendly and attentive. An enjoyable Saturday evening.

As usual ,a lovely meal ,plenty of beautifully cooked meat ,lots of vegetables to choose, from .a good atmosphere,first choice of local venue always .prompt service.

Good food, good service and value for money. Good real ale. Will definitely use the Nailers again. One of favourites. Would recommend this pub to friends and family

We were a party of eight and all enjoyed a lovely meal at this restaurant. The staff were efficient and friendly, the food was lovely and great value.

Very much enjoyed our visit to the Nailers - the Brie parcels as a starter are particularly excellent. Very good service and prices (including the wine) are very reasonable. Only slight downside was that on the Thursday evening we were there it was very busy and so it was rather too noisy.

Friendly staff, excellent Good, nice and clean restaurant. Location is away from the hustle and bustle of everyday stressful life. Already rebooked for next visit (probably a good idea to prebook as it gets very busy. Sign of good things!).

We had a lovely meal tonight. Booked for 6.00pm and were seated and served promptly. Lovely touch to celebrate Valentines Day, was a plate of chocolates and jelly sweets for us to share. Food excellent as usual and the service was really good. Staff very pleasant. All in all a lovely evening.

I booked a table for 8 the pub was very busy but was asked if everything was ok with our meal. very good carvery and a good price and pudding was excellent value. I would eat there again

Food was nice but staff were rude and extremely unhelpful, table wasn't ready for the time we booked it for and when half the table wanted a pudding, we were told the puddings on display were for the following day and we couldn't have one.

Pleasant surroundings, good service and average food. Quite a limited menu but there is also a carvery option. Portions too large for our appetites although this would probably not be a problem for others.

My wife and I eat here for my wife's birthday. She had the steak and ale pie and I had the 16oz rump steak. The pie was lovely, and the steak was tender and cooked how I wanted it. Fabulous food and service, highly recommended

An excellent Carvery with 3 well cooked meats, with a wide range of vegetables especially the garlic potatoes. The staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant had a good atmosphere.

Very friendly helpful staff, food lovely, wonderful meal. Booked online very easy to do, large table provided and request for highchairs and children's cutlery catered for. We had a wonderful family meal for 6 of us.

Booking no problem. Restaurant warm, cosy and welcoming and staff friendly and pleasant. We had the carvery, meats very good some of the vegetables however overcooked and some needed to be replenished. On the whole better than average but room for improvement

We had a super meal. We have visited Nailers on a number of occasions and they have never let us down. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere, value for money.

Have visited this restaurant several times and had the carvery this time which as usual was excellent value for money. Have also sampled other items from the menu on previous visits and have always been pleased with the food and the service. Would have no hesitation in returning.

We visited The Nailers Arms on Saturday 21st January 2017. I found it easy to book online, we had a nice table for 6 of us. Some had Carvery and some choose off the Menu. We all ate at the same time and we were all pleased with our food. Have been before and it continues to be good quality, I do recommend it to friends.

Excellent carvery and very good value for money! Will definitely go again. Wine also very reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone but you do need to book as it gets full even during the week
