Having tried endless Carvery pubs ( some good, some terrible) we found the Nailors Arms late last year and haven’t looked back since. Beautiful carvery, excellent service, warm welcome, definitely Covid safe . Slightly more expensive than your average but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended

Did perfer the carvery when you could serve yourself but new safety rules dont allow it,food was still as good Theo,place was lovely & clean with handwash freely available...

Very happy over all. A bit limited for vegans and the same price as vegetarians who had more choice. But still a very pleasant meal and lovely staff.

Food was great as ever, tables very well spaced, one way system, food was all served to you and screened off, waiting staff in visors, all very well planned to make everyone feel safe 😊

The was a separate entrance with hand sanitiser and exit. Tables were an appropriate distance apart, drinks were bought to your table, and Carvery was served to you, which was of a high standard as always. Staff were wearing PPR, it was a pleasure as always to dine there felt safe and well looked after, will end rebooking for other occasions..

The nailers is a lovely setting and a has a gorgeous elegant decor. Have been numerous times in the past. This was our first meal out since before Christmas. Unfortunately the food from the temporary menu was awful. Everything seemed supermarket bought and not well cooked. The chips were hard and tasted of the oil cooked in, the curry was bland and the beef burger was nothing like the ones they used to do. We hardly touched it. A really shame as I’ve rated the place before as 5*s. Hopefully things will go back to how they were before.

This was our first visit since March and the venue felt extremely safe. Hand sanitiser was provided and staff were extremely professional. Will be returning again soon.

The pub was spotless clean. Social distance was in place. Everything is done to keep staff an yourself safe. The food was just delicious as always.
