This was our first time at The New Wellington and it certainly won’t be our last... very welcoming people, food was very tasty and well worth the money ( carvery), great mains menu choices too. I would highly recommend a visit.

Went for a lunchtime meal at work. Good meal, not bad prices. Our table was in a corner which was quite secluded, but quite dark, as the wall lighting above the table were not working.

Food was fantastic as usual .. atmosphere is always great .. definitely my favourite place for carvery

I've been here a few times now and the food is always amazing, if you want a cheap but tasty meal I can't recommend the place enough. Great staff who are very friendly& helpful. The lady who carves the meat is lovely and very patient with a buzy crowd. Get yourself down there and enjoy a cheap day/night out, drinks are reasonable too 😊

Limited space to queue which ultimately blocks the bar at busy times. Great food

The food was of a good standard as usual, I was disappointed that the smokers thought it was ok to leave the doors open so the whole place smelt of cigarettes, perhaps better provision can be made for them away from the doors

As usual,the food and service were excellent.The only thing I would draw attention to,is the fact that the hot counter did look very messy.I understand that busy times can make this very difficult to stay on top of.I would also recommend the use of serving spoons,rather than tongs.Otherwise-keep up the good work.

We went for an anniversary and 3 out of the 4 of us had steaks we were asked how we would like them cooked we asked for all medium rare when they came they were all well done and looked nothing like rump or ribeye steak. We also had a chocolate fudge brownie with mint ice cream that come with vanilla ice cream when asked were mint ice cream was told haven’t got any and walked away in my opinion the Wellington is a carvary pub only not for any other meals

Weve had various carverys in the Midlands the new Wellington was recommended by a friend and it was by far the best weve ever had nice pub friendly staff and amazing food we'll definitely be back

Very busy on a Monday as half price .Meals were well work the money.Probably could do with bigger plates as was all cramped on a small plate .Presentation would look far better on a bigger plate .Apart from that food and drinks were fab 👍🏽

Food was fab as always, lots of choice with veg and potatoes

The food was piping hot and the meat just melted in your mouth. On the down side, the roast potatoes tasted like they had been there all day but overall, it was nice.
