As always the food was excellent and the staff extremely friendly and efficient. Everything was very clean and you feel safe.

We visited last night as they had extended the government scheme, it was our first visit, and I was so pleased, our waitress pippa was attentive. Prompt happy and friendly. I had pork belly which was absolutely amazing, veg was cooked perfect, and a beautiful glass of wine, my children meals were good size portions, and the burger was again lovely x

Staff were very polite , helpful , everything was very well organised, one way system , seating arrangements are all very well planned. The food was delicious and well presented, the sweets were also super. Would recommend to family and friends.

We went because of the Eat Out to Help Out deal, and hadn't eaten there before. The menu was limited but the food was fine and we felt that the portions were generous. The service was quick and friendly. We found the music very loud, and were glad that we were sitting in the garden (too hot indoors anyway!). All in all, it was a very good value meal, but not somewhere we would probably choose to go to on a regular basis.

Really nice pub. We’ve had mixed experiences and maybe it’s not fair to leave a mediocre review in the middle of a pandemic. Food was ok. My sister and I had a sandwich each with a side of chips which were sadly undercooked. Service friendly but very slow - 20 mins to serve my kids a scoop of ice cream each..

First time at the Old Thatch but not our last. Staff and good great.

I know it was the first Tuesday since reopening but there were insufficient staff and we had to chase orders that did not arrive. Menu was quite limited and far less than before the lockdown and even then some menu items were not available. I trust it gets better

Very good service with friendly staff. Surroundings very good with plenty of parking. Food well presented and plentiful. Would have been better for my party will thinner sliced meat(beef) and the choice of smaller portions.

Sat outside for our meal which was presented to us in record time. Excellent meal nicely presented with very pleasant staff. Certainly go back again.

Our overall experience wasn't great. We didn't get all of our food with our meals so we then had to ask someone for it. For which the response came across as quite rude and without an apology.

First trip to a pub and it was great - the staff were under pressure to social distance and did a great job x wouldn’t give a 10/10 for the food but in these difficult times it was a great experience overall and we’ve booked for next week

Very safe people kept well apart. The pie was excellent and the vegatables cooked to my liking. My wife's burger and salad was not the best, she asked for coleslaw to go with the salad, we don't have coleslaw. Salid without coleslaw.

Very glad to go back here for a drink and quality food. Everything was well spaced, the service was great as ever. All safety measures adhered to.

Outside seating was nice and drinks were good value. However did have to wait a while for the first round of drinks.

Staff were help full, food was dry The pie was very dry the beer tasted very off, I had to ask 5 times for extra sauce as only given 2 at a time with 4 kids they need more sauce. Kids chicken was a Brest yet the menu said chicken pieces. The girls were friendly and help full
