First visit & very impressed,food was great,hot & very tasty.Service was spot on & we were asked twice how we were enjoying our meal.May not be as cheap as a pub chain meal but there was a massive difference in quality.

We went for a family birthday meal. We all had an excellent experience, the staff were wonderful, very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent cooked to perfection, we all had something different, but it all came out together. A wonderful experience will be going back soon. Mandy

Very enjoyable Sunday Lunch. Would definitely recommend. Seemed to be a very local clientele pointing to the fact that it is a bit of an undiscovered gem and worth travelling to.

My wife and I had a really enjoyable Valentine's evening out. Excellent food and excellent value for money compared to other establishments set menus. This is a really friendly traditional pub. The everyday menu has some great choices too. We look forward to dining here again sometime soon. The only minus is the lack of a cask ale but I can live without that for an evening.

Went for Sunday lunch, but the menu was so tempting we ended up having an "alternative"... exactly what we each wanted off the main menu 😍. As always, lovely food, lovely service, and wonderful rhubarb gin with ginger ale... What's more... NO WASHING UP! The best possible way to spend a relaxing Sunday with family.
