Service was great, and all staff were very pleasant. The sirloin steak was the best steak I’ve ever tasted! 10/10 cooked to perfection just how I asked for it. Definitely my new favourite place to eat. Will be recommending to all my friends. Looking forward to my next visit

As a regular customer I was disappointed by the service. Due to the Eat Out To Help Out scheme it was very busy. This was to be expected but considering we had booked, to be told that we had to wait to order food because they were too busy was frustrating. We had to wait approximately 25 minutes after arriving to order, the food was then another 40 minutes. At one point they stopped taking food orders as they had such a backlog. The staff were working very hard but surely they knew how busy it would be. Maybe consider doing reservations only on busy nights such as this.

Booked an outside table for 7.30pm- arrived there and there was no tables actually booked. Found a table eventually which was messy. No service for ages, and no information given that food stopped been served from 9pm?

We waited 1hr 30 mins for our main course. Our children's food came and was dangerously hot and obviously been in the microwave prior to coming out. In the end we had waited so long, we cancelled our food and went home. Annoyingly, as it is our local, we knew a member of staff, who was in with a friend, and their food arrived within 15 mins, so quite obviously more interested in pleasing their off duty staff than customers. The pub was not even busy as we were there at 5.15.

Great night, lovely food. The staff were nice. Only slight complaint was the wait for our main to come out was a little long after we finished our starter but the food made up for it.

We had an excellent meal at the Parrswood. Food was great and the service was friendly personal and efficient. The price was good and the location was clean spacious and inviting. I would recommend the Parrswood as a very good informal dining experience as well as a friendly relaxed pub. It also is very good in terms of social distancing and Covid-19 precautions we felt very safe and the staff were thorough and gave excellent advice.

Enjoyed our main courses but the child’s meal arrived delayed which was difficult to manage with a very hungry 4 year old. Then no one came to ask about dessert. We waited 15 minutes, then asked a waitress, then waited a further 10 minutes but still no one took our orders. In the end we paid and left. Such a shame as we were all excited for dessert!

The food was lovely. The staff were really nice. We had to wait to order food as we didn't realise that normally you had to go to the bar to order but when we asked someone took our order at the table. Also an extra round of drinks was mistakenly added to our bill. But that was rectified. I would recommend The Parrs Wood for some top notch pub grub.

I've given all great scores because that was our experience. I am aware that the restaurant wasn't busy, it being a week day lunch time, which suits us fine.

One of my favourite places to come and work, eat and relax. Great food for even greater prices.

Local pub food with great service and value for money. Highly recommend. Dog friendly too.

Great Pub, not as crowded as the ones around in the area

Absolutely horrendous took 3 hours for a 3 course meal. Food was cold and bland and 2 meals had to be sent back as it wasn’t what was ordered. Incredibly understaffed and not worth the money. Not how I intended my mum to spend her mother’s day!
